We’ve got a healthy eight-game NBA schedule on deck, and I’ve dug up my top three player props for the day.
Josh Giddey is off to a fantastic start with the Chicago Bulls, and I expect him to dominate tonight’s matchup as he leads my NBA picks for today's games.
Best NBA player props today
| Player | Pick | |
|---|---|---|
| Over 17.5 rebounds + assists | -130 | |
| Over 11.5 rebounds | +105 | |
| Over 23.5 points | -120 |
Prop #1: Josh Giddey Over 17.5 rebounds + assists
We’re only about a month into the season, but it’s been an unbelievable start for Josh Giddey, who’s averaging career highs in points (21.4), assists (9.6), and rebounds (8.2).
The Chicago Bulls guard has been the heart of his team’s offense as well as a genuine triple threat, recording seven double-doubles and two triple-doubles in just nine appearances.
Giddey, who is expected to make his return tonight after missing two games with an ankle injury, has logged Over 17.5 rebounds + assists in six of his last seven outings. I expect him to top that number with ease against a bad Utah Jazz team.
The Jazz rank 25th in the league in points allowed per game (121.8) and 28th in opponent assists per game (29.2).

Prop #2: Ivica Zubac Over 11.5 rebounds
Sunday’s NBA slate gets an early start when the Boston Celtics welcome the Los Angeles Clippers to TD Garden.
Ivica Zubac is averaging 10.5 rebounds per game — one of just nine players at the double-digit mark this season — and he should dominate the glass in Boston this afternoon.
The Celtics are 23rd in the NBA in defensive rebounds per game (31.2), which is an area the Clippers center should be able to exploit. Boston also won’t have much of an answer for Zubac at center with their starting big, Neemias Queta, averaging just 24 minutes per game.

Prop #3: Michael Porter Jr. Over 23.5 points
The lowly Brooklyn Nets have not had much to write home about this season, with one win in 12 games, but at least Michael Porter Jr. is doing his job.
The forward has made a strong first impression in Brooklyn since being acquired from the Nuggets this past summer, leading the Nets with 23.2 ppg. And with Cam Thomas still sidelined, Porter Jr. will basically be Brooklyn’s only real offensive weapon tonight.
Porter Jr. is averaging over 18 field goal attempts per game, while no one else in the Nets lineup tonight is even at 10. He’s also scored Over 23.5 points in four of his last five games and should hit that number vs. a weak Washington Wizards squad that’s dead last in the NBA in points allowed per game (129.7).
Someone’s got to score for the Nets, and I think Porter Jr. does most of the damage.
