Pacers vs Mavericks prediction

Pacers vs Mavericks best bet: Klay Thompson Under 10.5 points (-115)

Klay Thompson hasn’t been at his best so far to begin 2025-26. The Dallas Mavericks forward is averaging just nine points across four games while shooting 28.3% from downtown. Klay is known for his 3-point shooting, but it’s been a clear struggle through the first week.

The veteran has cashed the Under in points scored in every single contest, only hitting 10 points twice. He put up a mere eight points on Monday evening in a loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder. While he’s only playing around 20 minutes per night, more is expected out of Klay offensively.

All four of his appearances this season have come at home, as well, so I’ll take Thompson’s struggles to continue against the Indiana Pacers this evening in the final game of this lengthy homestand.

Pacers vs Mavericks same-game parlay

The Pacers are winless through three games. That’s certainly not great news for a team that was in the NBA Finals last season, but we also have to remember that Myles Turner is gone and Tyrese Haliburton is rehabbing a torn Achilles.

However, they’ve won four in a row against the Mavericks dating back to the start of the 2023-24 campaign, and played a good game on Sunday against the Timberwolves, losing by only four points.

Aaron Nesmith is playing well, averaging 12.7 PPG on 47.6% shooting from downtown. He’s averaging 3.3 makes on 7.0 attempts per night and has cashed the Over in triples made in back-to-back contests.

He was 5-for-12 from deep on Sunday, and he also drained 4 of 6 treys on Saturday versus the Grizzlies. Nesmith went 3-for-5 from long range in one meeting with the Mavs last season as well.

Our "from downtown" SGP: Flagg-raising ceremony

Cooper Flagg is coming off a two-point showing against the defending champion Thunder, but he did cash the Over in points in two straight games before that. I expect him to respond.

  • Pacers moneyline

  • Cooper Flagg Over 15.5 points
