Rangers vs Diamondbacks best bet: Rangers moneyline (-105)
The Texas Rangers may be just five games above .500, but they’ve been playing extremely well, having won six streak, taking two out of three from the Los Angeles Angels before sweeping the Athletics.
They followed that up with a 7-5 victory in extra innings against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Labour Day. During this unbeaten run, Texas has covered the run line in every single game.
Arizona sends Nabil Crismatt to the mound tonight. While he's pitched well in three starts with a 1.84 ERA, the Rangers are thriving offensively at the moment, and I expect them to do some damage. While it’s just seven at-bats, Texas is hitting .571 against him and Joc Pederson is 3-for-4 lifetime on his own.
The Rangers have now won four in a row away from home as well.
Rangers vs Diamondbacks same-game parlay (SGP)
Texas is dealing with a couple of injuries to key players, which means others have had to step up. Wyatt Langford has risen to the occasion. He was 1-for-5 on Monday with a home run and has cashed the Over in total bases in three of his last five appearances.
Langford has two multi-hit games during that span, and he swings it better on the road, batting .263 compared to .234 at home.
As previously mentioned, Pederson has raked vs. Crimsatt. Despite a poor season overall, the veteran is producing the goods lately, cashing the Over in total hits + runs + RBI in three of his last four.
Pederson was 2-for-5 on Sunday with a homer and three RBI, and also drove in five last Wednesday against the Angels.
