Rangers vs Diamondbacks best bet: Over 9 (-110)
The Texas Rangers come into the series opener as the hottest team in baseball with five straight wins and eight victories in their last 10 games. Texas has averaged an incredible 10 runs per game during its win streak, powered by a 20-3 win against the Angels last week.
Tonight’s pitching matchup should also set us up for plenty of offense. Diamondbacks starter Ryne Nelson had a 4.60 ERA over five starts in August, while Rangers starter Patrick Corbin gave up 17 earned runs in just 21 innings last month for a massive 7.17 ERA.
Unsurprisingly, the Over has cashed in four of each starter’s last five outings.

Josh Jung is batting .481 over the last seven days with a team-leading 13 hits and 20 total bases. The Texas third baseman has hit Over 1.5 total bases in four straight games and six of his last eight contests.
Corbin Carroll hasn’t been quite as hot but still leads the Diamondbacks with nine hits and 18 total bases this past week. The outfielder has homered in two straight games and has 2+ total bases in seven of his last 10 outings.
