Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino has announced a partnership with the WNBA Las Vegas Aces franchise in preparation for the 2025 season, which begins on May 16.

The agreement enriches the commitment between one of Las Vegas' premier casino resorts and the two-time WNBA championship team, offering city basketball fans a better aggregate entertainment experience.

One of the perks of the partnership is that Westgate Las Vegas will sponsor highlighted segments broadcast during locally televised Aces games for the 2025 season. The segments provide additional entertainment and interaction for viewers of the games.

Westgate will also offer in-game slot machine activations, giving fans a different interactive experience during Aces' home games.

In addition, Westgate Las Vegas will be the presenting sponsor for an Aces home game giveaway. While details regarding that giveaway have not been released, this partnership typically entails a product, collectible, or unique fan experience aligned with the casino and sporting brand.

Westgate Las Vegas President and GM Cami Christensen emphasized Westgate's commitment to building greatness on and off the court when she referred to the partnership as a "perfect match" between two like-minded organizations committed to success, innovation, and engagement.

Westgate Las Vegas has long been a stalwart of the city's casino and resort industry, renowned for its gaming, sports, and entertainment offerings. The resort is home to its Race & Sports Superbook, which now operates only in Nevada after pulling out of eight U.S. states last July.

Las Vegas Aces take the WNBA by storm

Westgate Las Vegas has undergone a significant overhaul in recent years, investing nearly $300 million to enhance its amenities. The renovations have improved the resort's hotel rooms, gaming floors, and entertainment activities, making the property a premier destination for tourists and locals.

With the association with the Aces, Westgate seeks to capitalize further on those advances by surfing on the wave of popularity for the city's pro sports teams.

The Las Vegas Aces have emerged as a significant force within the WNBA, winning consecutive championships in 2022 and 2023.

The team's consistent success has been a key driver of the increased popularity of women's basketball across the country. This is reflected in wagers, as BetMGM cited that last year, the women’s NCAA championship became the operator’s most bet-on sporting event

In addition to their on-court dominance, the Aces have been active in the community, seeking to inspire young up-and-coming athletes and assist women's sports programs. Their collaboration with Westgate Las Vegas aligns with their overall strategy of engaging the local community while offering a higher entertainment experience to their growing fan base.

As the Aces gear up to begin their title run for the 2025 WNBA season, the partnership with Westgate Las Vegas enhances the fan experience. Adding gaming activations, broadcast sponsorship on local radio stations, and exclusive promotions will give fans new and exciting ways of relating to their favorite team.

The Las Vegas Aces are chasing their third WNBA championship this season, and their growing leverage continues to attract premier alliances.
