Key Takeaways
  • The Browns are among the most heavily backed underdogs in Week 5.
  • The Giants, Raiders, and Eagles have seen noticeable action.
  • Seahawks-49ers is one of several games with divided betting action.

The Browns, Eagles, Titans, Giants, and 49ers are among a large group of teams catching points this week that have received the majority of tickets or money at two different sportsbooks.

BetMGM reported Friday that the 3-1 Browns (+2 at Jets) were its second-most-bet team of the week, while Cleveland drew more than 80% of both spread bets and handle at DraftKings.

The Raiders (+3.5 at Patriots) and Eagles (+7.5 vs. Jaguars) are also among the top five popular spread teams at BetMGM, while Dolphins (+7 vs. Bengals) are the second most-bet team by handle.

DraftKings has seen the Titans (+7.5 vs. Houston) receive 67% of the tickets, while the Giants (+3.5 at Washington) are getting hammered with 94% of the money and 75% of the bets as underdogs.

Sunday morning special

The second London game of 2026 features two teams heading in opposite directions, which is helping make it the most-bet game of the week so far at BetMGM.

The Eagles could be without multiple stars, including Saquon Barkley and DeVonta Smith, while rumors of a roster teardown surround the franchise heading into the game against Jacksonville.

There was a massive line move, with the spread opening Jaguars -3.5 at BetMGM before surging to -7.5. Even with great concern over 2-2 Philadelphia’s status as an NFC contender, the Eagles are still getting 51% of the tickets at BetMGM. They are also BetMGM’s most-backed moneyline underdogs at +300 against a Jacksonville team coming off consecutive wins over New England and Cincinnati.

Over 41.5 also leads BetMGM’s most popular totals by tickets.

Split decisions

Unlike last week, there are several games with divided betting action. One of the most important divisional games this week takes place in Seattle where the Seahawks host the 49ers (+3) in a split contest at DraftKings.

San Francisco has drawn 56% of DraftKings' bets, while Seattle has attracted 86% of the money. At BetMGM, the majority of both bets and handle is on the Seahawks.

DraftKings customers are also split on Falcons-Ravens, as 53% of the bets are on 3.5-point home favorite Atlanta, while banged-up Baltimore has seen 65% of the handle.

The majority of the tickets at BetMGM this week are on the home Chargers as underdogs, but 55% of the money is backing the Broncos.

In Monday night's marquee matchup, the Rams (-3) are dominating with 81% of the money. However, the popular Bills have seen 57% of the bets at DraftKings, while BetMGM reported a clean sweep for Los Angeles.

Popular totals and props

Other popular totals so far this week at BetMGM include Lions-Cardinals over 54.5, Bills-Rams under 54.5, Texans-Titans under 38, and Ravens-Falcons over 44.

Cardinals receiver Michael Wilson's over 74.5 receiving yards against an underperforming Lions secondary is unsurprisingly the most-bet player prop this week. BetMGM customers are also high on 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy rushing for over 20.5 yards and Broncos receiver Jaylen Waddle going over 53.5 receiving yards.

Lions pass-catcher Amon-Ra St. Brown continues to dominate the anytime touchdown market, ranking first again this week with odds of -135 to find the end zone. Tight ends Pat Freiermuth and Brock Bowers complete BetMGM’s top three anytime touchdown picks.

Bettors are also counting on Jaguars running back Bhayshul Tuten to be the first touchdown scorer in Sunday’s early London game.
