As the Seattle Seahawks settle at around 4.5-point favorites over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX, theScore Bet is reporting heavy interest in Seahawks player props.
Key Takeaways
- Jaxon Smith-Njigba is the most-bet player to score a touchdown.
- Kenneth Walker III over 21.5 receiving yards has the largest handle of all prop lines.
- Underdogs covering for a sixth straight Super Bowl would benefit Patriots player prop bettors.
The American Gaming Association estimated the Super Bowl drew about $1.4 billion in wagers last year. A major contributor was the volume of player prop bets that sportsbooks presented to bettors.
With the betting menus stuffed with a multitude of Super Bowl player prop odds yet again, theScore Bet has noticed a trend.
“Unsurprisingly, we’re seeing a lot of love for the Seahawks' skill positions as that offense has continued to roll through the playoffs,” said Adrian Horton, theScore Bet’s senior director of North American sports trading. “Jaxon Smith-Njigba is our most bet TD scorer by tickets and money, just ahead of Kenneth Walker III.
“Together, those two are accounting for nearly 25% of all bets and handle wagered on Anytime TDs thus far.”
Smith-Njigba is the heavy favorite in Offensive Player of the Year odds, so it’s no surprise that he’s drawn the public’s attention.

Walker, meanwhile, received 19 of the team’s 26 carries in the NFC Championship Game due to the season-ending knee injury Zach Charbonnet sustained during the divisional round. Walker is the most-bet player to score the first touchdown and to score at least two touchdowns.
A Seattle player also leads the most bet non-touchdown scorer player props. Quarterback Sam Darnold to throw at least two touchdowns and to throw for at least 200 yards are the two most popular player props in this category.
The most popular prop in terms of money wagered, once again, involves Walker. The over on his receiving line of 21.5 yards has proved irresistible for bettors.

On the Patriots’ side, Rhamondre Stevenson is the most popular pick to score a touchdown. Stefon Diggs and Drake Maye are just behind him, before the money returns to Darnold.
Maye to have at least one and two passing touchdowns and Diggs to have at least 40 are the most bet non-touchdown player props behind the pair of Darnold props.
In addition to the standard prop lines, theScore Bet has a slew of player specials. A “Super Bowl Record” selection includes any player to record 216+ receiving yards, 3.5+ sacks, or 7+ passing touchdowns, and there are also standard player specials, such as each starting quarterback to have 200+ passing yards.
There’s also a “Game Specials” menu with bets such as:
- Seahawks: to happen first - punt vs. points (points scored -160)
- Game to be tied after 0-0 (yes -130)
- Game-winning field goal at the end of regulation (no -5000)
- Longest touchdown (over/under 37.5 yards)
- First team to reach opposing 20-yard line (Seahawks -150)
“As always for the Big Game, we’re seeing a lot of action early on the Coin Toss, which we’re offering as a true 50-50 market with no juice (Even odds on both sides),” Horton said. “It’s our most popular off-field prop by far right now, with users fairly split at 57.4% of bets and 54.1% of money on tails, which is remarkably similar to where we ended for last year’s game, 57% of bets and 53% of money on tails.”
theScore Bet also has all the standard betting lines, including spread, moneyline, and total.
Their Super Bowl odds have the Seahawks at -4.5 and -230 on the moneyline, while the Pats have +195 moneyline odds. The projected over/under is 45.5 points.
Betting trends
Multiple sportsbooks reported heavy early interest in the Seahawks, who moved from as low as -3.5 to as high as -5.5.
That could help to explain theScore Bet customers’ interest in Seahawks player props. However, the underdog covered in each of the last five Super Bowls, so those bettors could be in danger if the trend holds.
