The 2025-26 NFL playoffs begin this weekend with two matchups on Saturday, three on Sunday, and a standalone Monday Night Football showdown.

Saturday

  • No. 7 Green Bay Packers vs. No. 2 Chicago Bears

Sunday

  • No. 6 San Francisco 49ers vs. No. 3 Philadelphia Eagles
  • No. 7 Los Angeles Chargers vs. No. 2 New England Patriots

Monday

The Super Bowl odds-leading Seahawks (+420 at FanDuel) are the sixth team in NFL history to rank first in defensive and overall DVOA. Four of the last five teams to achieve this won the Super Bowl, although the most recent team, the 2023 Baltimore Ravens, lost in the AFC Championship Game.

The second-place Rams spent a chunk of the year as the favorites. At +450 odds, they have an 18.2% implied probability to win the Super Bowl, just behind their rival’s 19.2%.

The AFC champion Denver Broncos (+650) are next in line, followed by last year’s Super Bowl winners, the Philadelphia Eagles (+850). MVP candidate Drake Maye and the New England Patriots (+1,000) are also tied with the Buffalo Bills after the two teams split their regular-season series.

The Houston Texans (+1,100) and Jacksonville Jaguars (+1,400) won nine and eight straight games to close their seasons, respectively.

The Green Bay Packers are only the seventh seed, but they’re ahead of the Chicago Bears (+1,900) at FanDuel and are favored to beat them on the road.

The San Francisco 49ers (+2,500), Los Angeles Chargers (+3,000), Pittsburgh Steelers (+5,500), and Carolina Panthers (+20,000) round out the list of Super Bowl odds.

NFL MVP odds

bet365 BetMGM FanDuel
Matthew Stafford -180 -145 -160
Drake Maye +140 +115 +135
Trevor Lawrence +25,000 +30,000 +30,000
Sam Darnold +40,000 +50,000 +50,000

Stafford’s collapse on Monday Night Football in Week 17 caused oddsmakers to position Drake Maye, who had been looking up at Stafford in NFL MVP odds, as a -500 favorite at FanDuel. Clearly, they had a change of heart.

Stafford is back up to a -160 odds-on favorite at FanDuel, which translates to a 61.5% implied probability of winning the award. At +135, Maye has a 42.6% implied chance.

The change in heart came after Stafford went for 259 yards and four touchdowns against the Arizona Cardinals. Maye had 191 yards and one touchdown against the Miami Dolphins.

Here’s how the two QBs stack up against each other:

Stafford Maye
Passing yards 4,707 (1st) 4,394 (4th)
Passing TDs 46 (1st) 31 (3rd)
Interceptions 8 8
Completion % 65.0 (16th) 72.0 (1st)
Rushing yards 1 450
Rushing TDs 0
QBR 71.0 (4th) 77.2 (1st)
EPA/dropback .228 (5th) .313 (1st)

If an upset is going to happen, Jags QB Trevor Lawrence is in the best position. His +30,000 NFL MVP odds are third, although they only translate to a .33% implied chance.

Lawrence finished the year with 291.5 total yards per game, 19 total TDs, and one interception in his final six games. His final season stats were: 4,007 yards (sixth), 29 TDs (fifth), 12 INTs, 60.9 completion percentage, and a 58.3 QBR (15th).
