ProphetX, the United States' first federally regulated sports-only prediction service, announced Thursday that it partnered with Agg Market to expand market access through Solana.
Key Takeaways
- ProphetX will remain under CFTC regulation.
- Solana users will receive access to PhophetX’s markets through Agg Market.
- Crypto traders now have the guarantee of federal oversight when trading with ProphetX.
Agg Market will act as the bridge between ProphetX's exchange and Solana. ProphetX's markets will remain offchain, while Agg Market's Solana-based infrastructure will provide an additional access channel to those markets.
Solana users will be able to access 100% of ProphetX’s prediction markets from Day 1.
“ProphetX was built to bring real regulatory rigor and innovation to sports prediction markets. Extending our full market coverage onchain with Agg Market means traders and builders can access a CFTC-regulated venue through the Solana ecosystem,” said ProphetX cofounder and chief commercial officer Jake Benzaquen.
As a licensed prediction operator, ProphetX falls under the federal oversight of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).

ProphetX expands prediction market access
ProphetX launched as a state-licensed peer-to-peer sports betting exchange in August 2022. It overhauled its structure and launched CFTC-regulated sports prediction markets in June 2026.
With the new arrangement, ProphetX markets are now accessible through Agg Market's Solana integration, either as a standalone integration or through Agg's broader liquidity APIs.
Blending federal authority with onchain connectivity unlocks a new dimension of prediction contract trading at an opportune time. Crypto users now have direct access to a full menu of prediction markets, including those related to the NFL, college football, and NBA, all of which are or will soon be in session.
Fighting for market share
The partnership also gives ProphetX another avenue to compete for market share in an increasingly crowded field.
The company was put under pressure by the August launch of Novig, another prediction platform entirely concentrated on sports event contracts.
Data for the week ending Aug. 23 showed Novig averaging $23.3 million in daily trading volume, more than four times ProphetX's $5.8 million. Meanwhile, larger prediction market operators such as Kalshi and Polymarket offer extensive sports markets and have reached valuations exceeding $20 billion.
