Betano's reach
Betano Sportsbook is an unknown brand to U.S. sports bettors, with its North American presence limited to Ontario. Its sports betting product is known for its standout prop betting offerings along with a sterling reputation when it comes to player protection measures. Props include player markets for fouls and minutes played.
Like U.S. sports betting operators, Betano continues to build brand awareness through team and league partnerships, one of which being UEFA EURO 2024. Prior to the 2024-25 Premier League season, Aston Villa and Kaizen announced a two-year partnership that made Betano the team's front-of-shirt sponsor.
Impact on GameplAI
GP's founders and team will continue to play an active role. This will include ensuring continuity and supporting the next phase of growth under Kaizen Gaming's ownership. The announcement also highlighted how GP will continue operating its B2B business, servicing existing and future external partners.
GameplAI was cofounded by Graham Savage and Nikos Volakis. The latter said joining forces with Kaizen Gaming marks an exciting new chapter for his company.
"From the outset, it was clear that our teams share a deep passion for innovation, precision, and pushing the boundaries of what technology can achieve in sports trading," Volakis said. "With Kaizen Gaming's scale and strategic vision, we are confident that our combined capabilities will unlock new levels of automation, accuracy and performance."
