Sony Open in Hawaii sleeper predictions

Sleeper pick to win: Kristoffer Reitan
+6600 at Fanatics

PGA Tour rookie Kristoffer Reitan finished eighth in the Race to Dubai last year to earn his card and has made the cut in 21 of his past 22 events while picking up a pair of wins and another six Top 5s.

His game travels, and Reitan also ranks 17th in this field in true strokes gained tee-to-green and 20th in putting across his past six events.

Sleeper pick to win: Eric Cole
+5500 at Fanatics

Eric Cole is coming off a solid fall with a pair of Top 10s and his T21 at the RSM Classic, where he finished fifth in true strokes gained on approach and 27th in putting.

He’s also improved in consecutive appearances at the Sony, including his solo fifth last year, where he ranked fifth in true strokes gained on approach and 10th in putting. The arrow is pointing up again for the 2023 PGA Tour Rookie of the Year.

Sleeper pick to win: Brian Harman
+5000 at Fanatics

The three-time PGA Tour winner has played in here annually since the 2012 edition and is coming off T18 and T21 results the past two years.

Brian Harman’s driving accuracy and short game play at Wai'alae Country Club, and he also posted a T4 in 2018 to cap off a four-year run of Top-20 finishes.

This number has my attention, given Harman ranks 20th in this field in true strokes gained on approach and 22nd in tee-to-green play across his past six events.
