Paige Bueckers, who yesterday lied to the media when she claimed that the Wings drafting her scissor sister Azzi Fudd with the #1 overall draft pick despite her long history of debilitating knee injuries had nothing to do with their deviant relationship, is left leading a team that can't compete with any of the WNBA's good teams.
Fudd last played on August 5th in the Wings' 96-92 loss to the Mystics in D.C. Including that game, the clipped Wings are now 1-5 and 0-6 ATS over the last couple weeks. Their only win came over the Toronto Tempo, a non-covering 94-88 win vs. a team that's now lost eleven in a row. Meanwhile they've lost by 18 points to the Valykries, by 13 points to the Lynx, by 11 points to the Fever, and by 8 points to the Valykries in their most recent game two nights ago.
So how are the Wings expected to keep tonight's game very close, never mind win it? Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell, the Fever's two biggest stars, are currently listed as gametime decisions, but come on. They're both playing.
Anyone have any thoughts? I went big against the Fever in Atlanta and got royally screwed when the league's fastest ballhandler, Dream starting point guard Jordin Canada, was ruled out just minutes before that game with some phony "illness." I went big against the Fever again on Tuesday in Toronto, but didn't win a lot because almost a third of my action was on the Tempo moneyline (not too smart). But the thought of taking these meager 3 points or this +140 moneyline is not appealing. What do you guys think?

Fever don't even second guess it.. You saw how minny came out fever will set the tone early and often.
The Lynx own the frightened Valykries, so what the Lynx did to them last night doesn't matter here. You're not concerned that the travel is taking a toll on the Fever? They flew down to Atlanta, then north to Toronto, then way south to Dallas, and New York City is the next stop.

I think the Wings will be leading at the half. The Fever cruised to a 57-49 first half win two nights ago while the Wings lost the first half in San Francisco on Monday by 16 points. Just too easy to lay one and a half with the All-Star road show Fever tonight.

They led at the half in both matchups this year at the Fever. Wings are 4-2 ATS as home dogs this year. And besides the 4th quarter spanking(35-21) last week, the Wings have held their own on the road against the Fever. Wings may want a little revenge for the one they let slip away last week. Travel could be a factor. Fever lost SU and ATS in their last 3rd straight road game losing at the Lynk 108-100 August 2 as 5.5 dogs.

What, exactly, do you mean by their, “deviant relationship?”
They drive different routes home from the American Airlines Center even though they live together. Why do they deviate when they’re going to the same place? I heard they do the same thing for games played at College Park Center. It’s just weird, man.
