YTD 67-64 ( &#x2B;7.8 units )CONNECTICUT &#x2B;9.5 ( 3 units )Ok here we again with the Storm discussion. The games become meaningless !!! ARE THEY GOING TO REST THEIR STARTERS ??My theory is this. "&#x27;NO&#x27;&#x27; they will not rest their starters, probably until the last couple of games of the season. This is not the NBA or the NFL. This would be a bad PR move for a league that&#x27;s been on life support over the past decade. Bottom line the fans aren&#x27;t paying money to watch JACKSON and BIRD  paint their nails on the sidelines. Ok so what i do think will happen is what&#x27;s been evident over the last couple of games. With first place overall pretty much locked up the storm players are becoming understandably less aggressive and more concerned on staying  healthy and ready for the playoffs. The storm turned the ball over 24 times against Tulsa, their perimeter defense was brutal and and no aggression in the paint as they let the Shock go to the line 29 times. Now that&#x27;s a joke. Fast forward to this game and i see the desperate SUN AS A LIVE UNDERDOG.

The problem (like Chicago&#x27;s game earlier today) is that the public will be heavy on CON... And much like Chicago&#x27;s game i see the refs favoring the SEA team heavily on this one. So, 44, we are on the opposite end here. And putting big on SEA (5 units)Good luck.By the way, any leans on the O/U?

Good luck to you but I wouldn&#x27;t touch this game with a 10 foot pole. Hard enough to cap a game period without taking into account whether one team is going to actually take the game seriously. I think going against Seattle on the road the rest of the regular season is a smart move, however I think they may turn up the intensity level for their home fans. As you stated the last thing a team dying for support needs is to lay down in front their home fans. Definitely think Seattle wins but by how many is the question.

&#xD;&#xA;SEA is definitely capable of banging this game out...but they were the same versus MINNE, had to fight back vs PHX...and were handled by the worst team I think Ive ever seen ( TUL )....ill glady risk a cpl units on CONN &amp; ML...I can also afford the loss if wrong

It seems that seattle isnt playing the defense they were earlier in the year,but they did turn it up against Pho.in the sec half to get the home win,they shut Pho.down in that sec half.Dont think they want to lose at home this year and will make sure they dont.Now do they start from the start of game or just play loose in the FH and then finish the job in sec half,if thats the case I see Conn.covering,but if they come out like they can,it could be over early.Tuff to guess the mind set of Seattle and the FH Conn played against Minn.has me leery to play them.If down 20 something against Seattle after the F-1/4 they will have a tuff time comming back.

Just my thoughts on this game,but I also think the starters will play as the WNBA cant afford not to have the best player this year on espn.

44 - this game is a big guessing match.  Tough to call.  I actually think the Storm will want to play better at Home.  9.5 points is a lot.  ????&#xD;&#xA;Good Luck!

GL 44 but this being a nationally televised game I think SEA comes to play tonight... Dont think Conn can match their defensive intensitym and line seems a bit high, sucking in all the Conn backers, GL ...

I personally think Seattle shows up this evening. Their lost to Tulsa is a wake up call. This was an embarrassing lost for an elite team like Seattle. I would believe there is some pride there and this lost to Tulsa showed them they need to work to win and not just for a quarter or so ... even against Tulsa!!

They need a big win this evening to regain the momentum for the playoffs and to show that they are still "the" team to beat. And I believe they will get that big win tonight... if they don't, this means they are in trouble .. as I do believe they will play tough tonight.

GL everyone, this was my 2 cents.

Everyone keeps saying they shut the Mercury down defensively.  IMO it was true to some extent...but it was just poor shooting from Phx...they were something like 3-24 in the quarter so were getting up PLENTY of shots.

KBricks,yes that was a big problem for Pho.in that sec half,cant remember how many shots looked good but just came back out for them that sec half,they missed everything.But they were shut out on the boards and Seattle did not let them in the paint at all,not they were able to do alot of those things because Pho.could not hit a shot until it was to late,but Seattle did step up the pressure on them big time.

Conn and over sec half tonight,over is going to be close.79 is a push,need 80.

Nice win 44,took Conn.sec half&#x2B;3.5 for 11.5,watched the FH and Conn.was playing well,that 3rd 1/4 was the best Ive seen them play this year,nice pick,good to see you on a roll now,dont see the guy that was fading you in here anymore.&#xD;&#xA;CONGRATS

Conn put in a lovely 3rd quarter to basically seal the &#x2B;9, there&#x27;s money to be made late in the season with teams who have already sealed their playoff fate.
