Jeff, i am not hear to bash your chase, but are being purposely misleading or are you really this clueless about unit sizes ? .. i.e, if you are chasing -150 to 5 games, your unit size is obviously much less than that of a flat bettor, do you not agree ?. therefore to compare your 128 units in NHL to units won by a flat bettor is not even close to accurate ..

No, if you lose twice you're doomed. Don't worry too much about Vegas. They have been building big hotels there since 1946. Can you imagine a guy betting $100 a unit losing A B C D E? I have not been using the A, B, C, D, E money management. I have been betting a flat amt on each game. Either way is working so far.

Losses might occur, I'm thinking much later than sooner. I have one system hasn't lost in 17 years I suppose that is do. Most are checked 5 years or more if they have losses during that time I don't use them.

Looking strictly at units, the system is 9-0 because it won 9 units and has not suffered any chase losses (no units lost).
God forbid this system takes a loss (loses 5 games in a row), the chase record would be 9-1 with -85 units (estimated based on -150 lines).
The Straight Up record would be 8-6 (since it lost 1 game A already, plus a full A-E loss)
Basically, as long as Games A, B, C, D or E hit, it is a chase win. If game E losses, it will be chase loss.
The system would have to go perfect for the rest of the year to make up the units it lost.
As you can see there are positives to chasing (ex, winning on Game B so the Game A loss didn't matter for you total units) and negatives (the crushing units lost if you lost a Game E).
Bankroll management is key, you should not bet more then 1% of your bankroll on a 5 game chase like this or you may not afford to see a full chase through.
These guys who bet $100 per game in this system should have atleast $10,000 in their account to be able to afford it.
