VCU will not shoot the ball like they have on this stage tonight.  We have seen from previous years what the final 4 can do to certain teams that rely on the solely on the jump shot.  These stadiums are alot bigger it does affect teams that have not experienced it.  VCU will make some runs and clearly will make some 3's but Butler knows how to shut teams down.  I think they will frustrate VCU and they will continue to take bad contested 3's all game and w/ Butler's experience in this atomosphere i just think will take over in the 2nd half.  I honestly would not be surprised if this game was a blowout.  Smart is a great coach and will have his team fired up but the final 4 comes down to the better coach and more complete team.  Brad is a better coach and Butler is an overall better basketball team.  This has been a hell of a run for VCU but I honeslty think the dream ends tonight

VCU has shot lights out and has played teams that have not been prepared to defend the style they play.  Kansas tried to bully them and you cant do that to VCU.  Smart outcoached Self in that game he had his players ready to play.  Self is not a great tourney coach he plays down to his competetion year in and year out.

You are correct Butler did the same thing last year but they didnt rely on the 3 point shot.  Brad is a big time coach and he shuts down what you like to do.  Now VCU could shoot lights out again and it could easily happen but I like my odds of them getting alittle tight in front of a final 4 crowd.  GMU had an amazing run awhile back but they were overwhelmed once they got into the final 4.  It's not just the game these players have to deal with its the whole week and it comes down to which coach has his players focused enough.  I just think that team is Butler and i'll take my chances w/ 2.5.

If you ask who I would rather have coaching in 1 game I would take Smart over Self.

Recruiting is a different story but I just dont think Bill Self is a great coach in a 1 game scenerio.
