Nice work. ![]()
you were nervous at the end of the 2nd set don’t lie. Then finally replied when Noskova broke in the 3rd. It was not looking good for her but glad you won. Nice call ![]()

Nervous? No.
Upset? Yes. She had the match in her grasp and it slipped away. I had a smaller bet on 2-0 and that was blown.
But had I lost confidence? Absolutely not.
How could I have less confidence than I had before the match? We're y'all watching?
Outside of the nervy games at the end of the second set it was completely one sided.
So why would anyone think it would be any different in the third set? Did you think Noskova was just going to choke her way through the third set? This was not a situation where there was a close match and she let the opportunity slip away. There was no reason to believe that Muchova would suddenly rise up and be the better player. Can you give me an example of any situation where a player chokes away a match more than once? It rarely happens because of the mentality of the whole thing. Sure, she could've gone out and lost a competitive third set but as I said that was unlikely to happen given the difference between the two players on this day. So Muchova couldn't match up with her straight up and Noskova wasn't going to choke again. She might do it again next time they play but not in the same match. I watch this stuff constantly and that's just not something that happens- choking away the same match twice.
So there was no reason for me or anybody else to feel nervous or lose confidence. I added on to the moneyline just enough to make my original 2-0 play break even and ended up cashing my biggest straight bet of the year. Previously the biggest was Noskova over Marta and before that it was Noskova over Pegula.
If you haven't noticed, when I write a short novel about a single match it means I'm pretty dang confident about it and if you haven't noticed when I'm that confident it usually wins. And when I'm that confident I certainly don't lose confidence watching a match like that. Surely you guys understand this.

I was watching a grand slam final where I had multiple mortgage payments on the line. Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. She was up a break in the second set too, I should've still been nervous, no?
