2* Kohlschreiber -108 Youzhny's a mess at the moment and although Kohlschreiber isn't exactly reliable or the model of consistency this season he has a dominating h2h advantage that is hard to ignore, especially given Youzhny's current form.
2* Davydenko -140 Seppi's serve will be his downfall here as both players are unreliable with their own service games but Davydenko has the stronger return which will give him the advantage here.
1* Mayer +102 Not Florian's best surface but he's usually knocked out by big hitters or servers indoors. Stepanek relies more on tactics and variety which mirrors Mayer's own game style so this should be a tight affair.
1* Muller +214 Fast courts here at Paris, gives Muller a great shot with his big serve and Anderson's poor returning. Could come down to tiebreakers and a few tight points, can't justify Anderson being this big of a favourite.

most of kohls wins have been against youz on clay, very different surface from iHard... lifetime kohls has a .500 record around (44-43) on iHard while Uzny is like 64-43 lifetime on iHard, i would LEAN only LEAN youzhny in this matchup, i think his Lammer loss was just of disinterest and underestimation, the russian pitbull will be determined to beat Kohls in this one gauranteed, along with it being a masters 1000 he doesnt want to go out first round...
when i did my excel spreadsheet analysis a lot the stats were even, this is a perfect line IMO thats why theres no point in betting it because you dont see a signficant advantage or mistake in the line set by the oddsmakers...
I have a huge man crush on BLB

Kohlschreiber has wins over the colonel on every surface except for grass(since they've never met there) so whatever they play on clearly isn't an issue here. Lifetime surface records aren't too helpful in matchups based on one player's overall domination. Youzhny's indoor record is sublime yet he opened as a slight underdog versus a sub .500 indoor player. That and current form are enough for me to take a chance on Kohlschreiber here.

Watching the Kohlshcreiber v Youzhny match. Not sure if you guys are as well. Both players look SLOPPY, and there have been multiple breaks. Youzhny really does look like a head case though. He made one little run after falling down 3-0 in the first set to get it back to 3-3, but even then he didn't look like he was playing with any confidence at all.
Match isn't over, but if things stay on pace Kohlschreiber should be able to close this out.
Good luck with the rest of the day guys.

3* Berdych/Verdasco over 21.5 -113 Berdych dominates Verdasco on hardcourts, the big question is will it translate to indoors where he lacks results. Both players are struggling at the moment so I see a back an forth affair in this one with a great chance at going the distance.
2* Llodra -127 Just like Granollers last week, Llodra can play some great tennis here at home. He's been very lackluster in singles this season but the indoor court and home crowd should be a recipe for success. Lopez has a poor record indoors and despite equalizing his career high ranking of #20 he's the underdog here. Hmmm, I'll take Frenchman #1.
2* Chardy -125 Speaking of Granollers, his grueling run to the title last week was extremely impressive: Cilic, Monfils, and Del Potro are hefty scalps for any player let alone in a non grandslam tournament. Despite this he finds himself an underdog here and has performed poorly indoors outside of Valencia. Chardy's a huge hitter, ball bashing at it's finest and I see him taking advantage of the Spainard who is coming off an emotional high in his career. Frenchmen #2, allez!

1-4 -7.15 and the coffin is closed on my ugly tennis season
(248-311 -26.48)
2012 redemption!
Damn right. I also like to mentally wipe the slate after the year and view each one as a different season to coincide with how it is in sports. So I definitely hope your next "season" goes well bud.
