Not sure if any of you guys happened to poke your head into my thread last night, but I wagered on a match with a line error.  And have been getting the run around every since last night.  Here is a post of the convo this afternoon.


Kenny: When I placed A.Rodionova into my open parlay last night. You guys had Anastasia Rodionova listed as the ML option of this match.

Kenny: So I handicapped the match with her playing. At 12:00am EST the match kicked off, I checked scores right away only to find out it was Arina Rodionova playing.

Kenny: Immediately contacted you guys to notify you of the error...in hopes that it would be cancelled and my 4-teamer would be simply dropped to a 3-teamer.

Kenny: Unfortunately, Arina & Anastasia would both be listed as ( A. Rodionova ) and that's basically the reasoning they were trying to give me. However, I only bet A.Rodionova +6 thinking it was obviously corresponded to the available ML wager that was Anastasia Rodionova.

Kenny: If that makes sense?

Kenny: I deposit a ton of money with you guys, and obviously if I didn't feel I was right in this situation I wouldn't care as it's only $50. But, I know it was listed incorrectly...and didn't appreciate the responses I was getting from the reps last night.

Dustin: But yesterday Anastasia wasn't even playing

Dustin: Right?

Kenny: Manny whoever that is, basically admitted there was an error in the posting...but tried to claim it was fixed 22hrs prior to me placing the wager. Which we both know wasn't the case.

Kenny: Anastasia isn't even playing in the tournament. Arina is.

Kenny: Both happen to be A.Rodionova's though, both happen to be from Australia.

Dustin: Indeed, let me check with tennis Dep.

Dustin: To check if there was any mistake on the line

Kenny: I know there was an error, the reps obviously recognized it as I asked them to send me the corresponding ML info to A.Rodionova and they wouldn't do it.

Kenny: And Manny admitting there was an error but trying to claim it was way earlier in the day is nonsense. I've brought many line errors and name errors to your attention in the past (When I have no money on them...just as a courtesy)

Dustin: Indeed sir, there was an error, but it was on the ML you happen to take the spread (+6)

Dustin: Therefore the wager, your wager stands

Kenny: Okay, so explain this to me. You've just admitted there was an error.

Dustin: On another line, yes

Dustin: Not on yours

Kenny: If I click on the WTA wagering options and see Anastasia Rodionova as the ML option...

Kenny: And the corresponding spread of +6 as A.Rodionova...

Kenny: Common sense says I should assume A.Rodionova is also Anastasia Rodionova.

Kenny: Correct?

Dustin: Well sir, you know

Kenny: I don't want to hear you should have checked the WTA site.

Dustin: 5Dimes shows full player name

Kenny: Yes, and the full name was shown as Anastasia Rodionova for the ML option

Kenny: Which you just told me.

Kenny: So any normal person or player would assume the corresponding A.Rodionova +6 is also Anastasia Rodionova

Kenny: That's my issue.

Dustin: I think that if you wanna ear something else you should speak with tony

Dustin: As we stick to: the line was fine

Kenny: And I have no problem speaking with him. But everyone needs to use common sense here.

Kenny: If I placed a wager on Anastia Rodionova ML...it would be clearly cancelled correct?

Kenny: As that was an error

Dustin: He3'll be back until tomorrow

Kenny: I was told he'd be in today. This has my available funds tied up...on a clear error by 5Dimes. Not me.

Kenny: So, I just want to make sure we're on the same page. Had I wagered on Anastasia Rodionova ML (Which you've already admitted was an error) This leg of the parlay would have been cancelled correct?

Dustin: I'll get in touch with the operation manager, as soon as I have an answer I'll send you an email

Dustin: Sounds that good ?

Kenny: Im just wanting to get on the same page first.

Kenny: So the above statement I made would be true yes?

So just a over view for those following along. 

They have already admitted that Anastasia Rodionova was posted as the ML option for that match (When it should have been Arina Rodionova)  But they;re sticking to their guns grading my wager as a loss, because A.Rodionova +6 was obviously meant to be Arina Rodionova.


I was kinda 2nd guessing myself last night, thinking maybe I just read the page wrong.  But, it's nice to know I was right.  I'm just having to deal with a book who clearly admits an error and trying to bone me out of a $50 wager.  Cracks me up.

So, whomever this operations manager is came to the conclusion that the fair option for both parties would be to void my parlay wager all together and refund my $50.


Basically had to accept it.  Damned if you do, damned if you don't.  So 5Dimes people up on the posting of a line and I get punished.  They obviously know they fucked up, and still punish me and don't honor the Redskins ML aspect that kicked off my parlay. 

Lol Tony...had a situation with him where I was told to chat with Tony...I did, he was the rudest person ever. Basically told me that I will no longer take your action...it is a great site. Better then the rest.

I've actually dealt with Tony a few times outside of this instance and things went fine.  This time, it never got to him.  He was basically the next step beyond whoever this "Operational Manager" was. 

I don't like the outcome, as my Redskins ML was a win before I even locked in this Rodionova +6 line that was an error.  So they at the very least should have retro acted my parlay to a single play and honored my win as it was.  But, I was basically told take or leave it.  And didn't feel like getting into it with Tony.

Dont bother talking to him...waste of time

It didn't even get to him.  I was told it was a lady who basically gave me this take it or leave it deal.  I just find it laughable that they were trying to justify the wager as a loss simply because A.Rodionova could have been Arina or Anastasia....and choosing to simply ignore the fact the correlating ML option with the spread was listed as Anastasia. 

I guess I should be happy I got my $50 wager back, but at the same time they screwed me out of $70 in profit which I had won to kick off the parlay with Redskins ML.

And this wasn't a case where it was graded then I noticed the error.  It was within 5mins of the first ball being played and the wager was active.  They could have simply accepted their error, and knocked my 4-teamer down to a 3-teamer and let me continue on.  But they chose to try and stick it to me...figuring I'd drop it simply cause it was $50

wish they would legalize gambling in america so we can get better customer service

That Tony guy is a straight up prick, I called them up to report a ML error, after i bet quickly on a live bet, then realized that it couldn't be right so i called them up...I told them about the line error, even helped prob save them money  because it still wasn't changed 20 mins later...
