I am writing to find out information about the pros and cons of round robin wagers. I operate on a rather small budget and have found round robin wagers to be a way for me to earn some nice pays while keeping my losses to a minimum. Although l have not hit any huge payouts, l have been able to stay just over even in 4 months worth of wagering on Hockey and baseball mostly. Are there others on here that bet round robins ...l would love to read your opinions on them.

I wagered a couple of round robins my self I think its most profitable if your going after like doing like 6 or more and putting teams of 2 together or somthing like that.

Putso ....Round Robin .is basically a way of hedging your bets if your playing parlays. for example ......say you have 50 bucks and want to play a 4 team parlay.....instead of putting the whole 50 on 1 parlay.....you can play all possible combinations of 3 and 4 teams. ie.
10 on yankees, red sox, tigers, Rays (4 team parlay)
10 on yankees, red sox tigers\ (3 team parlay)
10 on yankess, red sox rays (3 team Parlay)
10 on yankees, tigers, rays (3 team Parlay)
10 on red sox, tigers, rays (3 team parlay)
therefore :
4 team paraly pays 10/1 ....$10 pays 100
3 team parlay pays 6/1 .....$10 pays 60 x4=240
--------
340 total won if all correct.
if however you get 3 out of 4 correct you will still cash in one 3 team ticktet paying 60 bucks. Small win but at least u dont lose.
So you give up some cash from the total payout of putting the whole 50 on the 4 team parlay ...50x 10= 500. In doing a round robin parlay a 4 out of 4 day will pay 340 but u dont lost everything by having 1 losing result in your parlay.
