RL Strategy

Have noticed that on many days the RL winners are heavily on the side of the +1 1/2. I want to keep track of these to see if there is value on wagering only on RL +1 1/2. This thread will be started to check the value of betting this wager....this is for tracking purposes only. Starting point is Sunday, August 2nd, 2009.

 

All lines quoted will be from multiple offshore books and based on best odds available at the time of posting.

All tracking wagers will be to win $100. Record will be kept daily.

 

I was looking at some of the best teams in MLB for the purposes of checking on the RL parlay.

 

Here are the July results with perhaps a few mistakes:

 

Boston 10-15

Anaheim 12-13

NY 15-11

LAD 11-15

Phil 15-11

 

The juice, if that is the correct term, probably makes betting with or against these teams as a group a risky venture. I also couldn't detect any vaule in parlaying any two in the group. Of course, it's only one month.

Sorry my work schedule kept me from posting the last two days. The results for Monday I do not have. The results for Tuesday based on closing lines are as follows:

I believe that the best time to wager on these is close to gametime as they are an unpopular wager so the best line is probably available close to start of game. Not researched just my idea and opinion. Good Luck all.......JJ

Runlines change during the day from the opening. My observation was based on opening runlines and I am keeping track here on closing RL's. Based on the record is maybe only a good wager if bet early. Some runlines go from +1 1/2  at the open to closing at  -1 1/2.....so if you want to bet RL +1 1/2 bet them early before they change to -1 1/2. End of thread.....good luck!
