Thanx, But I've Been To This
Website Already. Haven't Used It Cuz I Can't Afford It At The Moment.
Do You Use This? And If So, How Accurate Is It?
This
service use to have a partnership with sportsline.com. They use to post
their predictions based on simulation data. From what I understand they
are pretty good at baseball and totals for basketball.
Like you I don't
want to pay $499 for their service without trying it first. If you
believe their posted stats they are pretty efficient. I've also been in
search of a reliable sports simulator site. If I find any I'll send you a
PM. Please do the same with me.
On a side note I have considered building a simulator with a software buddy. The first step is to determine which statistics translate into wins. In basketball points allowed is a stronger indicator then points scored. When I get more time I might play with this idea more.

Thanx. There Is A Website Called WagerSim.com, I Tried Them On A 3-Day Free Trail, They Must Of Had A Few Bugs Or Something Cuz The Simulator Kept Given Me Wrong Results(Lucky I Faded 'Em). So What All Do You Need To Build A Simulator?

You Know What Else I Was Thinking tomseaver286, I Don't Know If You Have Any Sports Video Games On PS3 Or Xbox360, But, Did You Ever Think About Simulating Those Games And Testing Them On The Real Games To See If They Produce Accurate Outcomes?

The problem with the PS3 or XBOX simulations is that it is impossible to run thousands of simulations on each game. To be semi-accurate you need to run a game through a simulation at least 10,000 times. That would take you forever on a gaming system.
A few companies make simulators for baseball games so that baseball nerds can compare players of today against players of the past. I've thought about contacting them to make a simulator that I can use for basketball. The most important element to the simulator is the statistic or statistics that most correlate into a win. It is my belief that simulators are more suited for predicting TOTALS of games rather then the point spread winner. I'm going to focus on OVER/UNDERS for the remainder of the year.
I'm going to start searching for a basketball simulator tonight. I'll let you know what I come up with.
Best of luck.

There is a pretty good computer simultion game called Action PC. It does baseball, football and basketball and I think they just started hockey. Not sure how accurate it would be for betting because they use previous seasons although they do come out with projection disks so you can play around with the current season. https://www.dksports.com/

I e-mailed a guy last night about a basketball simulator that he built. If I like his answers to my questions I will buy it and try it out. I'll start a thread with my results.
