Counting units?

I'm not sure if this belongs here but I'm just curious how to count units. Im sorry in advance if it's a stupid question? I don't use the american odds. I use decimal odds

units are the wager placed on your bet based on your bank roll. 100 bettors
1unit=100.00
2unit=200.00
3unit=300.00
4unit=400.00
If your betting 50 as minimum bet then 1unit=50.00,you get the idea. Unless I'm completely misunderstanding your unit counting question,that should clear it up for you.

So lets say i make a bet and its at 1.86 and i win it. Does that mean i just made .86 units?

Lets say they are all 25 dollar bets does that mean,

1 unit=25

2 units=50

3 units= 75

etc. etc

A single unit is just an easier way to describe your minimum wager amount. two units is the double of that and so forth ..

So if i win a bet that pays 1.86 and its for 1 unit i win .86 units? if its for 2 units i win 1.72 units?
