That's not a way to live in the USA ... my wife's uncle was the Vice president of Colombia and whenever her family went back it was armed vehicle escorts where ever they went. 10 foot high walls around the compound with armed guards with barbed wire. Fuk that living in fear

those here in charge , living behind 10 feet walls , are telling you to have a max wall height of 41 inches around your house , its quite comical 

Although I have to say I often wished for a few acres guarded by hounds ALA Mr Burns style

I put up the max my city allows a 6 and a half foot fence at my expense, not to see my dumb cop ass neighbour

DJ , thats the building code here for new built houses , 41 inches max height for walls and driveway gates

so i built a 41 inch wall , and waited months to get off their radar ,  to raise the posts , put in a 6 ft entrance door , put up metal framed fences on the wall and got a 6 ft driveway gate 

I did the exact same thing 

btw way thats for street side , in your backyard and between neighboring properties you are "allowed" 6 feet , i set up 8 feet there 

The thing with guns is that you might/will be liable ... a pack of hounds take down an intruder you are not liable as long as you posted signs
