What? There's no state fair basket weaving competition in Malta to bet on? an_speechless

 

Although I mostly work sitting in Colombia, my company pays me out of NYC, so I follow that calendar, having had a 3 day weekend since Friday - 4th of July. It feels great to have been off for 3 days.

I think every weekend should be a 3 day weekend and that there should be 4 workdays - pay me less - OR - give me an extra "weekend" day and I will work two extra weekdays in a row - so 7 days on and 3 days off.

 

The 3 days in a row off really recharges my batteries and is advantageous for the company. 

In the month of June in Colombia there are three  3-days weekends. Between 19-21 days off per year.

India has 21

Hong Kong and China with 17

Japan, Taiwan  with 16

Russia, Peru, Poland, Croatia at 14 days

United States has 6 Federal but splits on Vets day, Good Friday and Colombus Day which averages out to 9 a year 

 

9 a year? Are you kidding me? This is more corrupt than FIFA!  an_roll_laugh

As much as Spain and Belgium seem to be easy calls in regulation/To Advance, something tells me FIFA wants Portugal and USA

 

There is no way Spain and Belgium don't advance in the real, fair world, nine out of 10 times.
