Spain had the least yellows coming into this game (2) and didn't dive all tournament.

This thread is pointless.

Especially since Spain's opponent were the Dutch, who are world famous for their on the ground antics.

Iniesta was a disgrace today.  He wasnt even touched the one time, and Xavi pulled off a disgraceful dive in the penalty area as well.   All teams dive to some degree, but todays display was awful.  Not just accusing Spain,  as Robben is amongst the worst divers on the planet and he does nothing but bitch and complain to the refs and his teammates.

People who dives and holds on FK and corners is the wort thing I know... C Ronaldo is also among the worste even though he's improved...

The one Iniesta dive was very Robben-like in that nobody touched him and he went down like he was shot, but the rest were standard issue pro soccer moves.

Netherlands have no real complaints, they get a huge break on the Kung Fu kick to the chest in the first half.  Should've been a red card on that one.

Robben is the best diver, why I love him. He makes is look good

I was pissed that Iniesta scored though. That donkey played such a piss poor game didn't deserve that goal. He should have netted 2 or 3 prior to that. Not sure what he and Rooney are sipping on.......

Based on your avatar I would assume that you are a football fan.  Have you ever seen Tom Brady (or any QB, K, or P for that matter) fall down after not getting touched? It happens all the time.  It's part of the game - all of the players know and understand this.

The ironic thing Arky is that Robben SHOULDVE taken the dive to draw the red card on the 1 on 1 breakaway...but he wanted the glory of the goal himself...

 I understand your arguement but to compare the amount and degree of diving in the two sports its ridiculous.  The NFL does not have even 10% of the level of diving that soccer has.  Sure an nfl punter (which most would not consider a legit and comparable nfl position) will dive, but over 90% of all nfl players I guarantee have not taken a dive in their entire career.  Do you think that even 5% of all established soccer professionals have not taken a dive in their lifetime?
