I like Mets too. That pitcher for NYM is the real deal. Hasnt really been touched yet. Nola has been rocked his last 4 or 5 outings. A real advantage for NYM in pitching for sure.

Nice write up. Im on K ST also. I think having a mobile running QB really helps early in the season. Johnson will have the opportunity to make big plays with the run. ISU defense was a bit slow last yr, lets see if he can take advantage. Becht is a player and he worries me and ISU has a top tier coach. That makes this game close. Im going on the ML -155 with K State. Going to be a great scene in Dublin, they have really taken to College football over there, good to see.

Today Im going with Chelsea -150 at West Ham. I think Chelsea was frustrated last game. Had some good opportunities, never connected. They are a high quality team with a lot of firepower. Being shut out last game they will be spitting nails tonight, in my humble opinion.

 Akso like Bayern at home. Very reliable. RB Leipzig is a good team and the odds are crazy high -425. Will parlay it with another higher odds play to make it more realistic. Will be a bit conservative with that one, a tie is possible. Unlikely but possible.

Im liking Bodo too. Sturm a bit weaker this season, Bodo is a wagon! Has been reliable in the past, playing at home the crowd is usually crazy. That would be a fun match to see in person. Dont know about the food concessions up there, might be able to get a good sausage and pastry.

UTAH. Watch out for Devon Dampier, a dual threat QB who passed for 2800 and ran for 1200 with a terrible NMex offensive line. This year he has one of the best OL's in the country. As always a tight tough defense. A Big12 schedule, many tough games, all "winnable". Injuries have killed the Utes the past few years. With some good fortune there, they will be a very tough out every game.

When this matchup first was announced, my first thought was "bet the house on Khamzat". His speed, intensity and takedown skills will overwhelm the slower DDP. As time moved on and others have weighed in, I am surprised on how many favor DuPlessis. Questions about Chimaevs' gastank for 5 rounds (DDP gets tired too), or striking ability are brought up. All fair points. As far as the eyeball test goes, DDP has beaten Strickland twice and an old Izzy. Both guys good matchups for DDP, no takedown danger from either and all fights were tough, Izzy might have been ahead when he got subbed. Borz has destroyed everyone. Burns was competitive, but he was broken in the end.

 Much of handicapping comes down to "feel", those who are right win. I feel we will see the best Khamzat yet. Hes had some roadblocks in the past and this is his time. I like DDP. Hes a good guy, respectful and likeable. Hes good for the UFC, unfortunately hes gonna be second best on Saturday, in my humble opinion.

 So many times, Ive had a strong feel and been talked out of winning bets. Not this time.

If you are bound and determined to do it. Which means you have ignored the majority of input. Input from experienced handicappers. OK, rip the band aid quickly. Go for a NRFI in the Diamondbacks/Pirates game. Two pretty good pitchers, two bad hitting teams. You will know your fate in less than 30 min.

I kind of like taking top tier pitchers like Skenes and Cease that had a subpar outing last game.  Does a less that stellar outing mean he is now a bum? Could be, probably not. Im a big Dylan Cease fan. A guy like that will probably be tuned in after giving up some runs. Same with Skenes. Skubal is simply the best pitcher in MLB right now. Framber is a crazy tough lefty that seems to be  in a groove. (came back after a loss w/ 2 hits in 6). All 4 pitchers VERY tough tonight. 3 wins for sure.

Done well betting UVa tt ov the last little while. Granted it was tough putting together "Uva" and "over". But Tony Bennett has moved on (thankfully) and the cavs are a more normal team. Pretty good shooting actually and are getting pretty low team totals.
