Agree J-Cap ..However I still do not have enough faith in the Penguins to get it done within a reasonable price range, especially against the Sabres...ie:Reg or PL..I look for the plus to compensate for my Ozzie naivety towards the American sports betting market and it`s crew.. Penguins still have thieir lapses during games and out-shot themselves last night to get the win against the Wings..That energy expended may cost them dearly in this match-up..The Sabres are conceding as many shots as they are giving away..They play a fast game, mirroring much the same as Pittsburgh and I feel this will lead to a high scoring game, with the Penguins stealing it OT or a S/O. No way boys..Ryan Miller is back to form and the Pens are starting Brent Johnson in goal... there is no way Pitt will Keep up with buffalo in this one (Buff= 2 days rest, Pitt= 0 days rest). Max Talbot is out in this game due to injury and Brent Johnson has allowed 10 goals over his last 3 starts. These two teams have played very close games this season (two 1 goal games), I believe goal tending is the deciding factor in this one - Buffalo Wins 4-1

Yes, Sabres' goalie Miller has been hot lately, but he needs to turn it around versus Pens. He's 2-4-2 in his last nine starts against the Penguins, and has a
4.43 goals-against average in his past six outings in the series.
On the other hand, Pens have not won back-to-back at home since Dec. 15. A puzzler to me. Need some compelling opinions on this one, or I'll have to PASADENA.

Compelling opinions huh? LOL... ok
Sabres are 8-1 in their last 9 vs. Eastern Conference. their last 4 road losses all came against western conference teams.. they were down against the ducks 4-0 bc of their backup goalie (lalime) then put miller back in came back 4-3, but eventually lost 5-3.
then they played Vancouver and should have at least gone into OT but Carry price the ref, called off a SH goal by buffalo and gave the Nucks a 5-3 man PP... the knucks won by a goal...even the Vancouver announcers said the call was bad.
so besides poor backup goaltending and a bad call the sabres recent slide isnt as bad as it looks on paper.
you have to take the best goalie in the league versus a career backup when your getting + on the money line...
Penguins are 0-4 in their last 4 home games vs. a team with a winning road record.
Penguins are 0-4 in their last 4 vs. a team with a winning % above .600.
.....I think that speaks loudly too

shoot... I took buffalo +105 and now the line is up to +120...lost out on some dough.. always be careful of a stacked line too... lots of people are betting blindly on this game because theyre tuning in to watch it on national tv. public perception is accounting for the line... how is the best goalie in the leage a +120 underdog against another team's backup??? thats crazy. Pens won on NBC yesterday and are on TV again tonight thats how...
