Today Greg Norman picked Ryo Ishikawa and Adam Scott as his captain's pick for the International team he will lead into October's Presidents Cup at Harding Park in San Fransisco. Ishikawa is certainly a nice looking player but the kid is only seventeen. And then he follows that up by taking fucking Adam Scott whose been having trouble breaking 80 all ??? Wow he choked harder on these picks than in the 96 Masters.
Meanwhile, Fred Couples shrewdly selected two young studs in Hunter Mahan and US Open Champ Lucas Glover to round out an already stacked American squad. This competition is going to be an absolutely trouncing. Hopefully the linesmakers will help out and give us a decent number but I highly doubt it. Whatever, I'll be looking to bet against the International team in tons of matches. And Couples better send out Tiger against Y.E. Yang in the Sunday singles.

I don't disagree that Ryo and Adam are terrible choices. I can understand the Ryo choice from a TV ratings point of view, he'll draw the Asian market. But Adam Scott?... Oh my the Shark must have been swimming in cold waters.

The line is out, USA is -230 to win outright. I think it should be at least -300 given the talent disparity between the two teams so there is definitively value in that number IMO.
