The site doesn't tally those so I will subtract at end of year if you have such a penalty. There is no penalty for failure to pick during bowl season, but the contest doesn't end until after the BCS Championship Game, (or whatever the hell they're calling it).
Also make sure you check that you hit submit after choosing games. I have no control over what is picked and can't override your decisions. If you "pick" a bunch a games and forget to hit submit and end up having a week of zero games picked, then you are subject to the no-pick penalty.
