Meet The players

As the commish, I should first let you know I've made the executive decision to pay the top 3. First will get $240, Second $50, and third $30. I hope that adds up.

I would like to introduce our contestants since most of you cannot get a picture up (or actually have jobs that won't allow you to play on the computer all day. Anyway the players are with short bio:

JTsnively-John Snively "the top dog" sits in his chair in the sun room with a system not many can comprehend

 

snivelyma-Marilyn Snively "top dog's top girl" how she does it we'll never know and with Julie off to college probably about to lose her mind.

 

lilsnives4212-Zack Snively "mouth of the south" not only is he illegal here but lets everyone know everytime he wins. (if he gets too cocky may have to call wagerline and pull the plug) still humble though from season 1 when the commish stole the show in last week to take the championship.

 

Noles6-Aunt Neen Snives "FSU fanatic" her team has seen better days but her bets will come correct

 

snives6-Matt Snively "the mellott street miracle" he has trained with some of the most sophisticated gamblers in Powhatan

 

UncSam-Rounding out the Snively's Sam "the dog of the Desert" you've read his posts you've seen his photo now watch for his "heat" He will talk you into a trip on the Titanic. One of a kind. A retired vet of the U.S. Air Force and a current member of team Chevron. Sam has been banned from Vegas for his uncanny ability to pick football games. Read em and weep.

TylerPalko-Ryan Lucas "Tyler Palko" married into the family and is the right hand man of "cookie" Defending Champ need i say more.

 

Jason Rosnick-Nephew of Marilyn "Joe Buckeye" been at OSU for some years now and is a real student. In a few years will be providing athletes with the best roids on the market. Spends his freetime watching NASCAR at JT's. I hear the betting there is something special.

 

Marcella6611-Not really sure but mixed up with UNCSam. get that $20 in girl.

JButch17-John Butchkko History and Head Football Coach. Grad of West Lib and a native of Canton.

 

Bigkat4552-Mike Davis-Head softball and math coaches football and basketball at a rival school but we still like him cause he's a muskie and he can drink alot.

Its always good to know the backgroud of out of towners!  I'm glad to see math teachers in the GB3, they won't have problems subtracting thier wagers!  Lesson for the history teacher, yesterdays gone and tomorrow ain't here yet, Thursday that is!  Math guys, help the history teacher please.

Hello Snively clan…….You don’t know me but I know you.  I’ve watched hours of Snively reunions on VHS.  I’ve seen everything from a possibly drunken rendition of a re-written “12 Days of Christmas” to a nice little old lady playing a guitar, singing the blues and shakin’ her butt.  And then there was the poor little lamb…..run, run away little lamb! BAaaaaa!

 

So what the f*** am I doing here on this football thing?????? OMG I have no idea either!! I was just following Sam’s exuberant, emphatic instructions…He tried to explain it patiently, bless his heart.  I’ve already forgotten whether the + means they’re favored to win or lose.  And the $20? Ahem…um…..I thought I was already covered.  The check’s in the mail. Or so I’m told by my sponsor.  Please don’t break my legs.

Good luck this weekend.  Saturday I will be sitting in the gigantic hole in the ground up north, sorry buckeye faithful, I will be waatching the wolves.  Sam, your one of a kind and I get a good laugh every time I log on...  Snives  gave a pretty good outline for the group, good job Benny, keep plugging away out in Mode 4.  Staff training tomorrow for the Rockets, I think the AD will be busy in his air conditioned room.  Playing some 500's this week for Sam...

Glad Marcella chimed in, yunz (CACP) translation, all of you/ya'll/youz, see she uses big words but she is also a redneck at heart.  I measured both of her legs and they are even but still has potential to be a true Hillbilly!  New Mexico, is is the birthing place,  "Lobo' if you will.  She resides in Tempe, like PPO, once a boom town soom to be a ghost town since everything has hinged to the west side!  West is the best in the 4th largest city in the USA!  We stold the Cardinals and created Westgate, a site proposed for growth until 2011.  Glendale, home of the 2008 Super Bowl, Home of Jordan Sparks, American Idol winner, NCAA girls softball series winner............whoops ASU is in Tempe!  They pronounce Tempe as Tem-PEE, like if we said Bel-air instead of Blear!

That’s right Sam.  I am a redneck girl at heart.  You can take the redneck out of the country but you can’t take the country out of the redneck.  My Dad’s family came from northwestern New Mexico.  When my Grandpa was a young man he herded cattle back and forth from Aztec to the mountains in Durango CO.  The Rhodes clan had a standing feud over land and property (cattle) with another local clan and if you went out on your horse you didn’t go alone because you might get shot at.  As a young girl my Grandma traveled across NM in a covered wagon.  A few of my great uncles gave their lives to the silver mines (dynamite mishaps).  Others worked the railroad. 

 

Yep, I come from some tough stock.  When my Grandpa was 12 he survived a burst appendix and that was before antibiotics.  They took his picture ‘cause the docs said he wasn’t going to make it through another night.

 

Does that story remind you of another scrappy fella?  Sam you are one tough bugger.  Stone can thank you for providing some choice DNA from the gene pool.  I’ll miss you during your unfortunate incarceration but this is just one more knot on the string of life’s hard knocks that have made you who you are.  Stay cool.
