Afternoon games...if you win in the afternoon games by all means you use that money in the night games...(Brutus is an example from yesterday). 3. I can't stop gambling when you make your picks for the afternoon(i.e bankroll:$1000 bet: $1000 afternoon/$500 night - if afternoon loses both games you are bankrupt). The record will show that all that person's money was lost in the afternoon so that I will catch. 4. I understand thaty mistakes happen (go look at my $500 of the LAD, was suppossed to be $100) but I have to adhere to the rules of overbetting your bankroll to be fair to everyone. If you accidently overbet dollar values, I'm sorry but if you didn't have the money it counts as a disqualification. Goodluck

Quick question and maybe it was answered, but I just want to clarify. What about people who throw down 500 bucks on a -190 favored team. If they win, they win the 500 bucks. My question is they would of had to wager 950 to win 500. If they had a bankroll of a 1000 and they bet 2 games including the -190 game they would of bet more than they had. good point Mutant...and I thought about that one for awhile and how to deal with it.. The short answer is I cant monitor each person so I have to let it go....just one of those "not quite real world" things about wagerline and running this contest. A couple got hurt yesterday with losing heavily juiced game so overall I think its a 50-50 proposition. Some people seem to have a tough time understanding the concept of betting their bankroll limit nevermind having them to pretend it's real book and if your laying to win 500 (your exanple at -190 thats 950 to win 500) so your bankroll should be reduced by that amount...before you bet your next game. I find it takes some time to sift through the games that each individual has played and its very tough to monitor every situation. So like afternoon games in essence they are "gambling" if they are laying more than their bankroll can handle if they lose the juiced games. Its not perfect but its a trade-off between monitoring the contest overall and having the time do it properly. The leaders seem to be playing "all-in" and its working so this contest may end sooner than later and Im thinking of writing some software to run this contest separate from wagerline in the future. (some Excel VBA is more than adequate to make an application to be used on covers.com) Its not perfect answer but I think over time it may even itself considering the win percentage required for heavily juiced games.
