I had this on DVR for about a week until I could gather the strength to watch it, and it turned my stomach, just as I thought it would.

This is verification that whether you believe in God and the Devil, there is no question that Good and Evil exist, and are quantifiable.

This is perhaps the most evil man I have ever witnessed.  I read a lot of true crime novels in my teens (weird faze I guess), but this guy makes Gacy, Dahmer, Gein, and Manson look like model citizens.

The saddest part is that he could have been stopped in the 70's when he butchered the fetus's of 15 woman in a protest on mothers day, using experimental, and barbaric methods.  (9 had complications).

There were so many that could have stopped him. Even getting support from Governor Tom Freaking Ridge, who decided that inspections of abortion clinics were too much to ask?

I had to stop a few times because I thought I was going to puke, but here it is if you are interested.

Killed babies after live birth, and well into the 3rd trimester.

Killed a lady because he was negligent in his anesthesia (not having trained staff).

    No sanitation.

    Dead Fetuses everywhere.

There were numerous times he should have been shut down, but the political nature of abortion saved his A$$.  Gov Tom Ridge is an accomplice in many's eyes.

I urge you to look at this documentary.  it is only like 45 min long.

I perfect example of what this is.  Dirt, you always seem to be a pretty informed guy on newsworthy matters.  However, when the media refuses to report on matters like this, only people that delve deep  into the story will find anything out. The problem is, this is an abortion doctor that has been practicing infanticide for years. Imagine if you will a botched abortion in which a live child is born.  The obvious thing to do is to take a pair of surgical shears into the back of the neck of the baby and snip the spinal cord.  Or if he didn't feel like that, simply find the nearest toilet and deposit the baby and watch it try to climb out on wet porcelain where it would eventually give up and drown in the same cavity where someone had recently taken a s hit.  But of course it would be hard to hear  anything about this as it deals with abortion and no one in the left wing media would want to have anything to do with speaking out against an abortion doctor.  Last I checked, he is being charged, very quietly, with 5 counts of murder.  His underlings have testified that they have witnessed hundreds of similar acts over the past years.

that's fucked up. i'm not doubting that the abortion angle is playing a part with the media but there is some really bad garbage happening all of the time.

we had a case a few years ago like this ohio mess.  some dude boarded up the windows and had locks all over his doors and kept his two daughters locked away for a few years.  raped them repeatedly.  one of the girls got pregnant.  the dad delivered the baby himself without any medicine, etc and took the baby to the nearest pond and tossed it in.  cops had to drain the pond and drag the lake.  pretty fucked up.  didn't even make the local news.

Let's hope abortion remains legal, available and well-regulated so that we don't have more back-alley quacks doing garbage like this.

Ironically, twisted pro-lifers are probably using this to argue that abortion should be illegal.

Let's hope abortion remains legal, available and well-regulated so that we don't have more back-alley quacks doing garbage like this.

Ironically, twisted pro-lifers are probably using this to argue that abortion should be illegal.

Don't worry Depeche,  nobody is going to take away your precious abortion.
It is pretty clear by the way there is absolutely no public outrage over this massacre.

This guy is probably the most prolific serial killer in history, and he operated with the blessing of the state and the community because he was willing to murder third trimester babies and keep them in his freezer for a small fee.

And it is also blindingly apparent that the political left are willing to have situations like this as long as it does not upset the abortion "apple cart".

I actually talked to someone over this past weekend who didn't find anything wrong with what this guy was doing.

No Rick - I'll do it now.  I've been following a bit of this case since last year and really struggle to stomach any of it.  Gosnell and his minions should be taken out to the street and gutted.  He makes Hitler look like a decent human being.

It is definitely a horror show. I do not understand how this is not a big deal. They are the most horrific crimes I have ever heard of.

A lot of this outrage is trumped up in this thread.

Did this man really do anything that dramatically different? Killing a baby in any trimester is a nasty business. I don't see how what he did was so much more inhumane. Snipping spinal chords of live babies. Yes, the babies experienced some pain, but they were destined for death any way about it.

If you've been circumcised, then you've experienced more pain at birth than any of these babies felt. Abortion is a nasty business any way about it. Though this guy's practices were unprofessional and unethical, he provided a unique service for people that sought it out.

    Some over dramatics going here.

not sure why rightwingers want to encourage these butchers as the doctors of last resort for people wanting abortions by continually trying to restrict abortions.  who do they think are going to be doing abortions when they try to make it illegal or too difficult?

or is the thinking that if they make abortion illegal, chicks will stop having them and people will stop performing them?  rightwingers are always talking about the benefit of passing laws because then people will follow them right?

So a baby delivered into a toilet being muddered while trying to fight for his life to breathe in $hit water is just hunky dory in your opinion?

And I do think that third trimester abortions should be illegal. If the fetus can live outside of the womb you shouldn't be allowed to induce birth and then murder him or her.

rick... I have said this before many a time...

personally I am anti-abortion... so I am against your example and actually against most abortion scenarios in general...

perhaps my talking about the current nra/2nd amendment talking point that the partisan hacks and lemmings are obsessed with got under your skin...

I know you have a personal view on the 2nd amendment issue that would not waiver or flip-flip regardless of what the fox"news"/talking heads/chain email/blog/propaganda machine prescribes people to crap their pants about...

similarly, no partisan stance on either side will change my personal view on abortion...

but I do not believe that my personal view should be imposed on everyone...

generally I am for more rights and freedoms...  and the freedom of choice is not only to have an abortion, but to not have one... If you understand history, eugenics, sterilization and the horror of government dictating how people make such important decisions then you might understand my view on why I want america to have increased freedoms and choices...

China is a good example of how government dictates reproductive choices upon its citizens....  I guess I am more about personal freedoms and choices...  others would prefer to have China as long as it pushes their own personal agenda...

Is this post sick sarcasm?  If this is serious, you are probably the most deranged individual I've come across on this site.

I've never had that strong of an opinion on abortion one way or the other.  Personally, I'm not sure I can stomach the idea of it, but I don't feel comfortable telling a woman what she can do with her body.  But....MANY OF THESE BABIES WERE BORN.  They were not fetuses.  They were, living, breathing, human beings.  They may have been "destined for death" in your mind, but that didn't happen.  They were delivered alive, breathed fresh air, and no longer were inside a woman's body.

Where does it end?  I assume you believe it is ok then for a parent to go ahead and kill a 1-year old that cries all night long if they decide they don't want "it" at that point?

I live in the Philadelphia area where this occurred, and this was just downright disgusting.  The local media has covered it ad-nauseum, and I am shocked it didn't get more national coverage.  Anyone posting that this case was "not that bad" did not see any of the pictures associated with this (I made the mistake of clicking on links that showed evidential matter when this first came out a couple of years ago and I'm still horrified).

No matter where you stand on abortion, this was an absolute horrific case, and anyone arguing it was not, really should take a long look at themselves in the mirror.

Are you suggesting that you have a better sense of morality than myself because you are more outraged? It seems that way. Sorry, but being overly dramatic in your sentiments does not make you better than anyone else.

I'm not arguing that this case is not horrific. I'm arguing that the entire concept of abortion is horrific. I see little distinction in these abortions from others. I am equally horrified.

You can pretend that these babies were half-way through law school if you want. You can compare this man to Hitler if you want.

Again, if it is the issue of pain, I repeat that the pain would be less severe than circumcision. I would consider you "deranged" for considering this case to be so much more depraved than mixing up a baby's brains with a metal rod and then sucking it out like a Slurpee.

He was not a "back alley quack"

His office had a big sign on the front and he is in the same neighborhood as the U Penn Hospital center.

Note: at every turn the left has fought against more regulation of abortion clinics. It is happening in VA right now.

In fact, in PA, where this happened, the state government decided to stop regulating abortion clinics via inspections because they didn't want to be seen as wanting to "restrict access to abortion"

    What he did was illegal.

Abortions after 24 weeks are illegal in Pennsylvania. He was severing the spinal cords of 7 month old babies who were delivered alive, which is also illegal.

So no, the babies were not "destined for death" until they met this butcher.

The comments from the left on this topic are very, very revealing.

And as I have said before, I'm not going to be lectured by people who think this Gosnell business is no big deal that they really care that 20 kids were shot in a school and if you don't support their wacky gun control schemes you're for dead school children.

    How woud you know?

    Note:
The baby began to wail as it proceeded to die alone on the cold glass tray and emitted a sound that West said was “like a little alien.” The sound caused her to run from the room in horror.

Nurses flee from circumcisions all the time I'm sure.
