Romney to Address the NAACP
money, you are full of hate and stupidity. you are therefore unworthy of further discussion.
I'm full of hate? Of course, I hate Theo-fascist republican bigots and their party. If by stupidity, you mean the truth.
Breitbart.com the site that is for moronic bigots that want to legalize some personal freedoms but side with the new confederate bigot party.

Mitt Romney was not booed off the stage as has been erroneously reported ...
When he touched on repealing ObamaCare..he received boos, but overall Romney received applause
throughout his speech and it was reported by NBC that many in the audience gave Romney standing applause
at the end of his remarks.
It was clear he had a positive impact ...although the liberal media will choose to focus only on the opposition to his remarks.....

Rice was a Democrat until 1982, when she changed her political affiliation to Republican, in part because she disagreed with the foreign policy of Democratic President Jimmy Carter,[16][17] and because of the influence of her father, who was Republican. As she told the 2000 Republican National Convention, "My father joined our party because the Democrats in Jim Crow Alabama of 1952 would not register him to vote. The Republicans did."[18]

The old racist Democrats became today's GOP, when in 1964 Strom Thurmond bolted from the democrat party to the republican party, because of his opposition to the 1964 Civil Rights Act. He served in the senate as a republican from 1964-2003. He became famous among other racist republicans, because of this famous quote"all the laws of Washington and all the bayonets of the Army cannot force the Negro into our homes, into our schools, our churches and our places of recreation and amusement."

@no_contest and the other guy.
Then why did Condi and her father choose to stay with the republican party?

When the democrats started to support Malcolm X, Martin Luther King, jr, and pass the Fair Housing Act, Voting Rights Act, and the Civil rights act. That pissed off racist dixiecrat-democrats and created the republican party we see today. That’s how the bigoted ayatollah dictator Ronald Reagan came to power. Nixon used the southern strategy in 1968. People, who know history, know that the democrats were the racist party.
Let’s take a look at what the democratic party once stood for.
Pro-Slavery
Pro-Segregation
Pro-Fascism
The Southern Strategy to get votes
The separation of states and the creation of the confederate states of America
Pro-theo-fascism and vote only God and party
Anti-separation of church and state
Anti-Taxes
Anti-Union
Anti-Immigration
Voter suppression
Sounds like the Republican Party of today, doesn’t it?
As one of the greatest comedians of all time Paul Mooney would say, “know your history.” That's why blacks and other minorities vote democrat today...

There is also a lot to be said for promoting small govt policies and individual freedoms.
When entitlement debates etc become about race it is just sad everyone loses. It is like the the founding concepts of conservatism are akin to reinstating slavery.
Fast and furious even became about race when the democrats and the black caucus walked out on a serious vote to pursue leaders that should be held accountable for their crimes against this country.

It is really too bad that the republican ideals have been painted as racist, bigoted, and theocratic. There are definitely elements in the party to support that claim.

You have to hand it to Romney ...... he apparently has a backbone, unlike our fearful dictator that resides in the White House to face the NAACP. Rush Limbaugh described Romney facing the NAACP yesterday as " Snow White with testicles" ..... so true!
