that's actually the opposite of how it works.  whether you are attracted to the other sex or same sex or both sexes is something that comes to you and is not a choice.  whether you act on it i.e. go on dates, have sex, etc, is your choice.

Ok dirt.  I see where you are coming from.  I was not trying to insult anyone with my choice of the word "lifestyle".  I chose that word because I think people can do whatever they want as long as it is legal and doesn't infringe on other peoples rights.

I have had both G and L friends throughout my life.  They didn't care that I was straight and I didn't care that they were G or L.

dl are you really as stupid as you appear.  He asked a question and I answered it.  What part of that is confusing your simple little mind?

wow ironic that you complain about insults yet here you are bashing away...

can you at least try to keep it civil and appropriate?

speaking of appropriate, we dont need you to air your personal issues (real or fictitious) to avoid the actual topic of the view of homosexuals by the GOP.

Seems like you're really struggling here spazzing out all over this thread...  calm down.... take a deep breath...  gather your self... maybe get some fresh air...  talk to real people for a while....  Im on your side here... I hope that you can get it together....

    Its gonna be okay

Looks like dirt and I worked out our misunderstanding.

Funny how a " non-partisan independent" seems to feel the need to take a side.

"What exactly is multiculturalism? Do you define it as having open borders?"

Nah man, I define multiculturalism using the definition.

Multiculturalism is the cultural diversity of communities within a given society and the policies that promote this diversity.

Republican - "Race matters. Ethnicity matters. History matters. Faith matters. Nationality matters. While they are not everything, they are not nothing. Multiculturalism be damned, this is what history teaches us."

speaking of appropriate, we dont need you to air your personal issues (real or fictitious) to avoid the actual topic of the view of homosexuals by the GOP

Who died and made you God?  Show me the national campaign please.
Yes I am calling you a simpleton.  You got one right.

2014 party platform, Texas Republicans offer the following stances on homosexuality and reparative therapy:

Homosexuality: Homosexuality is a chosen behavior that is contrary to the fundamental unchanging truths that have been ordained by God in the Bible, recognized by our nation’s founders, and shared by the majority of Texans. Homosexuality must not be presented as an acceptable alternative lifestyle, in public policy, nor should family be redefined to include guy couples. We believe there should be no granting of special legal entitlements or creation of special status for guy behavior, regardless of state of origin. Additionally, we oppose any criminal or civil penalties against those who oppose homosexuality out of faith, conviction, or belief in traditional values.

Reparative Therapy: We recognize the legitimacy and efficacy of counseling, which offers reparative therapy and treatment for those patients seeking healing and wholeness from their guy lifestyle. No laws or executive orders shall be imposed to limit or restrict access to this type of therapy.

A person wants to get an abortion because they won't be able to afford their child. Sorry, can't do it. The person needs assistance for the child they knew they couldn't afford. Sorry, can't help you.

Sheez, I can't say anything without your label of fantasy land or talking points. Surely everything I say doesn't fit any of those labels, but you have no problem trolling my threads to let me know.

I only paint you as a liberal because you only throw your stupid labels of 'fantasy land' or 'talking points' at conservatives on this site. Yet tip toe like a ballerina around lefties when you disagree with them.

    I just call a spade a spade.

If you have to constantly remind everyone that you're a so called 'non partisan independent' then maybe you aren't what you think you are.

You are making some great points, I would also make sure that you drive home the idea that all Republicans are homogenous and there is no diversity of thought within the group.  All the same.  Like all black people.  All Mexicans. All Muslims.

Absolutely no free thought, all depending on Karl Rove and the group for new ideas.  Ready to suckle from the teat of Bill Orielly.

It is also important to emphasize "otherness"  Make sure you plant your ideas firmly in the soil of reason and justice, and make sure you show how the evil republican is spoiling it for the rest of the world.  It would also be advantageous to take a page out of the racial hatred doctrine and show why Republicans are bloodthirsty rapists who want to get people's daughters addicted to drugs so that they can rape/impregnate them.

It is also important (as per anti-semitism)  to tie republicans firmly with the shadowy elite bankers who secretly rule the world.

But this is a great start.  Tying Them to ISIS is priceless.  ISIS is so hot right now.

I dont disagree with that at all...  as I was the first person to call him out on that...

perhaps it does not make me look very non-partisan by being so anti-progressive on this thread, but I can assure you that I am....

Im glad you finished your melt down and not engaging in insults and weird games...
