I agree 100%.... like I said from the beginning detox is wrong...

but you cant make more over generalizations to disprove over generalizations...

two wrongs do not make a right

Perhaps a single topic would allow a debate to actually start...

    Game over?

Its funny to watch people who know that the thread is beginning to shift towards an actual discussion and debate try to end it ASAP...

just because a bunch of aliases agree with each other doesnt prove anything...

well it appears that it does to you.... why dont you and the rest of your crew move on to the next topic...  well leave canos...  at least he is trying...

raiders isnt bad, but im sure he will rush in later to try back him up or play defense

you often play bump and run also...  I guess you can play zone or man for man when the whole team shows up...

funny that somehow BFF thinks I am some how for detox when I state very clearly from the beginning I think he is wrong...  certain people cannot exist with a team and need to make sides as if they had to have a discussion on their own they would fall to pieces...

at least that is what history shows us

In case you missed it dl the single topic was ISIS and Republicans. People chimed in to give their counterpoint.  Apparently I must have offended dirt because he called me a  "ignorant, redneck, religious quacks".  My choice of the word "lifestyle" must have really upset him.

I seems that was the only thing he had a problem with.  So I gave the definition above.  I hope that calms him down.

I actually thought it was going well before the name calling.  Dirt never addressed anything else we had to say.  That word 'lifestyle' just threw him into a tizzy.

That word 'lifestyle' just threw him into a tizzy.

so you're one of those who tries to say sexual orientation is a choice.  can you describe when and how you made the choice of which sex you are attracted to?

    I must have been about 12.  I think I kissed a girl around 12 or 13.

When I was 15 a man in his 30's tried to rape me but I got away.  I knew for sure i was straight then.  Didn't care for what I saw.  With the help of the County Prosecutor and my perfect testimony we were able to put him away for 5 years.

ok. mine was similar (except that attempted rape part).    finding out is quite different from weighing the options and making an affirmative choice.

Well I am not making that up.  Wish it never happened but it didn't scar me for life.  I had a great family support system.

i think if you asked any non-closeted lesbian or g*y person, he/she would tell you their sexual orientation is neither a lifestyle nor a choice but something that would be described the same as your sexual orientation or mine so they woul consider my comments normal.  i think anyone who is honest about his or her own sexual orientation and how it came about would agree.

in other words, i understand what you are saying, but i don't think my comments are crazy

Anyways back to lifestyle.  Whether I feel attracted to the same sex or opposite sex it is my "choice".  It will be the "lifestyle" I choose.  I think we have this topic cleared up.
