I find it comical that the same people who assured us that civil unions would not lead to happy marriage, now titter and giggle and these suggestions.

For example:

At the time, Republicans wanted to block happy marriage in Massachusetts by amending the constitution with an official marriage definition. Democrats argued against that, but they didn't argue in favor of happy marriage. They argued that DOMA made such an amendment unneccessary. They assured people like Rick Santorum that the slippery slope case for happy marriage was bogus.

It is also instructive that rather than trying to engage in a discussion of how or why someone would be wrong in making these suggestions, the response is "ZOMG!!!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE HE SAID THAT!!!!!!!"

It is also very instructive that people look to talk show hosts to articulate their political views.

comedy isn&#x27;t for everyone.does the rightwing have anyone who can tell a joke?  surely there is some material to work with from the left.  or is there no target audience for this kind of thing because it requires a sense of humor?

Without bringing up farm animals, answer these questions.  Is there a limit to the number of people one can marry?  Can family members now marry each other?
