Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) has been quoted as saying he's "worried about incentivizing people not to show up for work" regarding the idea to help Americans with a check. Does he think most Americans are lazy? Who does he think built this farking country? He's another farker who needs to go!
So stop giving away free money to help Americans then. Do it, Mr. Johnson.

Do you think the airlines should be bailed out? Read this article below from Bloomberg before you decide.
The biggest U.S. airlines spent 96% of free cash flow last decade on buying back their own shares. American Airlines Group Inc. led the pack, with negative cumulative free cash flow during the decade while it repurchased more than $12.5 billion of its shares. United Airlines Holdings Inc. used 80% of its free cash flow on buybacks, while the S&P 500 Index as a whole allocated about 50% for the purpose. As the industry reels under the weight of the coronavirus outbreak corporate leaders are seeking federal assistance to ease the burden.

American Airlines is offering early retirement for anyone with at least 15 years employment. They are also offering time off without pay but employees will still maintain their healthcare.
I'd expect other airlines to follow with similar options.

Under the storm of coronavirus pandemic, Trump Administration's repeal the of Affordable Care Act is still pending at the Supreme Court.
If people got lay off from their jobs by this pandemic, most likely they will lose their health insurances too. There will be the assistance of Affordable Care coming to the rescue for the people who need the most at this critical juncture, yet at this moment Trump Administration is desperately trying to rip out the help to millions of Americans.

"I know General Tso. He's a very good, very long time friend of mine. I've met General Tso many many times. Nobody knew anything about General Tso, but I knew before everybody."
OK, so Trump hasn't said this just yet. But it sure sounds like he would.

BREAKING: Bank of America will allow borrowers to pause their mortgage payments during the virus. Important caveats: -This is on a "case by case" basis -The payments will be added to the end of their loan (i.e. you still have to pay later)
Forget about getting your CC interest rates lowered or suspended payments on those.
Sound like a good cop/bad cop scenario to me.

Soon after he offered public assurances that the gov was ready to battle coronavirus, Senate Intel Chair Richard Burr sold off a significant percentage of his stocks, unloading between $582,029 & $1.56 mil of his holdings on Feb 13th in 29 separate transactions before the market tanked. So he was hiding in a bunker & telling his constituents everything was under control. Sound familiar?
Being a gambler, I would bet he may not be the only one. I would check the Trump family first but that's just me.
Me thinks the SEC should be sharpening their pencils and start connecting the dots.
You Can't Make This Stuff Up!

Senator Kelly Kelly Loefller (R-GA) is the 2nd identified member of Congress who dumped her stock holdings after a coronavirus Senate Briefing & before the market tanked.
Sen. Kelly Loeffler (R-GA) reported the first sale of stock jointly owned by her and her husband on Jan. 24, the very day that her committee, the Senate Health Committee, hosted a private, all senators briefing from administration officials, including the CDC director and Anthony Fauci, the head of the National Institutes of Health of the United States, on the coronavirus.
That first transaction was a sale of stock in the company Resideo Technologies worth between $50,001 and $100,000. The company’s stock price has fallen by more than half since then, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average overall has shed approximately 10,000 points, dropping about a third of its value.
It was the first of 29 stock transactions that Loeffler and her husband made through mid-February, all but two of which were sales. One of Loeffler’s two purchases was stock worth between $100,000 and $250,000 in Citrix, a technology company that offers teleworking software and which has seen a small bump in its stock price since Loeffler bought in as a result of coronavirus-induced market turmoil.
In the meantime she was tweeting that Democrats were misleading the country re: the virus.
OK, step up! Whose next?

Holy shit! This didn't take long.

I am on the other side Midnight1. President Trump a d VP Pence are doing a great job
We will destroy the virus. Also.
The one thing I have learned during the coronacrisis is: You can use the 'p' word. Be it 'precious' or the more popular "p" word, become President and make great decisions.
The most recent great decision by this administration was partnering with the private sector to destroy the virus and put our lives back in order.
A liberal administration would never partner with companies such as Roche, CVS, Walmart etc
The more I see Pastor Pence he more zi like him. Extremely well prepared.

“Burr was one of just three senators who in 2012 opposed the bill that explicitly barred lawmakers and their staff from using nonpublic information for trades and required regular disclosure of those trades.”
Surprise! Surprise! Who knew?
Didn't that witch Martha Stewart go to prison for something like this? Huh?
Move over Chris Collins; you may be getting some company.

I think I will. I dont know what more they can do. Now the FDA wants months of testing on chloroquine.
I take chloroquine without testing if I am on the ventilator without any other hope. I hope President Trump will cut through the red tape and make this malaria drug readily a d easily available.

The first coronavirus case in the U.S. and South Korea was detected on the same day. By late January, Seoul had medical companies starting to work on a diagnostic test — one was approved a week later. Today, the U.S. isn’t even close to meeting test demand. This is being reported by Reuters.
Sad. Very sad.

MIDNIGHT, you're a big government guy, what the hell was your CDC doing during all this time. And let's not forget this was no surprise. They knew about the Wuhan Virus since January.

Trump falsely claims, "you can never really think that a pandemic is going to happen." Actually, current crisis is both foreseeable and foreseen. Years ago, global health index ranks US as top country best prepared for a pandemic because of Bush and Obama administrations. Unlike Trump, Bush and Obama administrations mobilized international coordination to fight outbreaks and avoid global economic disaster. According to politico, 2017 Obama team warned Trump team about the risk of future pandemics in transition exercise. But most of Trump's initial team is no longer serving. Under anti-experts Trump, many key positions in government remain vacant or are under constant rotation in personnel.
In 2018, Trump administration dismantled US pandemic response team of National security council leaving just 2 of 100 policy experts specialized in pandemics. After ignoring warnings and ousting experts, Trump administration is now scrambling to address the pandemic. Current team doesn't have the same expertise of people who lived through ebola, swine flu and other outbreaks. Trump appoints VP Pence to head response team to coronavirus. But in 2015, Pence is blamed for ignoring expert advice and delaying Indiana response to HIV epidemic according to wikipedia. Extraordinary turnover is one reason why his administration has struggled. Continuity makes all the difference in the world.
