The American jobs crisis is escalating .....again. States have ratcheted up their virus-prevention measures to combat rising infection rates, due to the trump-regime allowing the virus to proliferate unchecked, and the job market has taken it on the chin.
Another 965,000 people filed for first-time unemployment benefits on a seasonally adjusted basis in the U.S. last week, the Labor Department reported Thursday, substantially higher than 784,000 the previous week, and far worse than economists had expected.

The police officer who died was identified as Eric Talley, 51, an 11-year veteran on the Boulder force. Talley was responding to the King Soopers grocery market when he was gunned down.
