Like trump, Pete Hegseth has been married 3 times and has fielded numerous accusations of infidelity.

He and Samantha share three sons between them. He married a Fox News colleague, Jennifer Rauchet, in 2019, after she had a child by him 2 years earlier.

“For you to try to label [Samantha, his wife] as ‘unstable’
for your own advantage is despicable and abusive.
Is there any sense of decency left in you?”
Hegseth’s mother asked in 2018.

“I don’t want to debate with you. You twist and abuse
everything I say anyway. But… On behalf of all the
women  (and I know it’s many)  you have abused
in some way, I say … get some help and take an honest
look at yourself,”  his Mom, Penelope Hegseth wrote.

After Trump said he wanted Pete Hegseth to lead the
entire military, Fox News contributor Leslie Marshall
spoke up to criticize her colleague’s history of alleged
misconduct, noting that infidelity is a crime
under the Uniform Code of Military Justice.               

     “You can’t lead an entire organization and all these
      people if you can’t lead by example,” Marshall said.

A whistleblower report obtained by the New Yorker
alleged that, during his time leading one of those
nonprofit advocacy groups, Hegseth was repeatedly
intoxicated at work events and gatherings with staff.

It also alleges that he sexually pursued female staffers,
and that the organization he led ignored another staffer’s
alleged sexual misconduct!

Behind his public facade, Hegseth’s life at the time was in turmoil.

He had recently left leadership of a nonprofit advocating for veterans amid allegations that he mismanaged funds and was regularly intoxicated at work events.

Hegseth drunkenly yelled “Kill All Muslims” while he was out
partying late at a hotel bar, The New Yorker reported, citing
a letter from a fellow staffer to a superior at the organization.
