I can't believe you guys have a running thread about Trump on here.
Trump is just flexxing U.S. muscle for the first time, trying to see if he can get any improvement on trade deals. Anything better he considers a win. He has alienated some of our closest allies, but Trump will ultimately cave like he always does. It's an empty threat, and everyone knows it, so people are calling his bluff and it may go on for a little while.
People act like his supporters think he's the smartest guy in the world. He's not. But when you're the CEO/President you hire people smarter than you to tell you the details and provide advice and options. The CEO just makes the final call. Other than that, the President just makes speeches.
I will tell you that despite not being the best speaker, or the sharpest tool in the shed, Trump is exceptionally gifted with the media. Hence his success with the apprentice, and getting billions of free media exposure to kick off his original campaign. And eventually getting elected. You gotta give him that.

To stay within Trumps analogy - you have very good cards - the best in the world no question (let’s call it double aces in poker) those are around 83% to win versus a random hand - if you face 5 opponents with 10 random cards it is suddenly below 50% to win - you don’t have cards good enough to even have a remotely chance of winning on a table versus the world - so be careful not ending in that situation - and maybe his tactics are a joke to you - but it isn’t to the world

It's either comical, or tragic. Maybe both. What i'm referring to is the Democratic party's insistence on calling plays from the same playbook, even as it loses them games.
Democrats, in the last 8 years, campaign like high school mean girls. They campaign through reputation trashing and name calling. They believe that if they can just call Trump the worst possible names, maybe it'll stick. Theyvstarted off by calling him a racist. We saw pictures with him snob nobbing with black celebrities for 40 years, big shit eating grins. Not one accused him of racism until he became predident. They even tried to use the actions of his father against him. Then came E. Jean Carroll. Now they called him a rapist. Anyone who has acrually dug into that case can clearly see that woman is batshit crazy but Democrats don't care about the truth. Just being able to call Trump the worst possible names. So when racist fell on deaf ears. Then rapist, they had to go with the absolute worst thing a person could be.
Look, i'm very much a, "Where there's smoke..." person. We do know Trump and Epstein were close. If Trump was boning underaged girls, we should know, and he should be punished. However, based on his track record, he sleeos with adult women. He has cheated, yes, but in two of those cases, he married the woman and had a kid. In the 40 years Trump has been in the public eye, there have not been stories of him being a serial womanizer. Likewise, most of those young ladies on that island are still alive, and grown women now. They may not have recognized all the men there but they definitely would recognized Donald Trump. None of them have implicated him to this point. And i'm sure they have had ample opportunity. Again, I support full disclosure.
I am not defending Trump. And i'm not some blind faith Maga. Contrary to how we are portrayed on this site, most of the conservatives are pretty center. Many voted for Obama. We are just disillusioned with what the Democratic party has become.
TIME TO BRING BACK THE OBAMA CAGES!

How do you feel about Trump's recent trade talks with the EU? You know my belief that America should lean into alliances that make sense. Canada are our brothers and sisters. We shoul have never alienated them. Following only Canada, and potentially Mexico, our alliance with the Nordic countries is of extreme importance. Mutually beneficial without reliance. These are the alliances we should be leaning into.

I am actually very glad for them because a trade war between our two blocks could go way out of control - but Trump is telling you a lie on the assumption you guys have no clue how EU works - a “deal” made with Ursula means nothing - since EU is not a nation she doesn’t have any signing powers - so trade talks with her isn’t worth much more than if he would have them with me - she needs mandates from the EU member states before being able to sign them (it is actually normally the worst thing about EU that it takes ages to get an agreement on anything - it is a hell hole with Veto rights etc. Brexit took years of getting that “trade deal” agreed on)

That we are the biggest trading correlation in the world is one thing - but you are also the biggest military power in the world and we control almost all international trade - so let’s just say a war between those two would not end pretty - in the end I hope we end up with zero tariffs and everyone paying their share of NATO - because tariffs isn’t good for anyone - and if you guys feel used in NATO that has never been on purpose - but your earlier administrations have gone out of their way keeping the world situation and military balance between us as it has been

But yeah I think getting Canada back on your side is the most important - because much of the “hate” Trump get from other countries is related to that - it isn’t “nice” what you do to Mexico either but we don’t feel attached to them to the same degree - even though we for good reasons don’t have the same relations with Canada as you do - we like them a lot and Netherlands, France and UK fucking love them - and all those three countries have a lot to say here

a month ago at the AtlasIntel, the most accurate political poll service in 2024, has shown Trump's approval rating at 45 percent vs 54% disapprove. https://www.newsweek.com/donald-trump-approval-rating-polls-2079291
Was wondering after the plow through of "big beautiful bill" and current chaotic Epstein Files fallout, how does Trump's job rating stand now at the AtlasIntel ", Fubah?
For their part, Republicans’ ratings have remained generally steady near 90% and Democrats have been consistent.
Meaning the dip in approval is from the center - which is the group that determines elections.
These latest findings are from a July 7-21, 2025, Gallup poll, which began days **AFTER** [the sex-offender in the Oval] signed into law the One Big Beautiful Bill Act on July 4

[der Führer's] administration’s *REFUSAL* to release more information about Jeffrey Epstein is a “line in the sand.”
Epstein’s name was mentioned more than 40 times on the most recent episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience,” which consistently ranks as the most popular podcast in the US.
The episode was another instance of Rogan, who endorsed Trump on the eve of last fall’s election, heaping criticism on his administration.
