Maybe something will actually get done in Washington if we do........who am I kidding
Doesnt matter what party is in "power" until we kick out all outside financial influence
I think that the problem is not the system but the people in it... when you hear some one "crying and blaming" the system for their problems you are looking "victim talk"...
the reality is it that it is the politicians and people involved... in the past nadar and perot ran independently and were intriguing choices for independently and moderates who tired of the extremist wacko nutjobs...
but the GOP tried absorb the independent vote by letting in the teaparty... they had a choice and they allowed teapartiers to enter them... like they did the theocrats and fox"news" followers...
for me personally as a conservative leaning individual, I would typically right to center I could not really with what the GOP, but with my distaste for dems it was hard to find something conservative that wasnt about talking points...

when I saw this it interested me ron paul and this movement towards more libertarian values... at least thats what the online tests of my political views indicated...
and I wondered if my views and the views of many moved towards being libertarian?
or the did the GOP move in the opposite direction of libertarians and people with any of their values to such an extent that they could not side with them?
either way there seemed to be an obvious hole in that area...
If this is where the third party is going then I am on board with the supporting the third option... and system victim whiners can vote for us too because it can be a vote in the belief that the current system is reason for their lack of success..

lobbyists are a part of the system... they appeal to politicians, but also inform them... It is open to corruption sure, but it is how the politicians know whats going on...
the problem is that the citizens elect or re-elect people that continue to sell them out...
so the entrenchment in the 2 party system where both sides are on the take favors that type of corruption... that is why a 3rd party would change the dynamic and actually take power away from the lobbyists by making their job tougher because it is now infinitely more complicated...
I also think the third party will have an advantage in getting people to bail from their party... then having to worry that a third party supporter plugs back in and starts following msnbc/fox"news"...
perhaps the third party can fix the system... or at least make it better
