among the more unprecedented and ridiculous symptoms of Obama Derangement Syndrome was their love affair with putin.  as russia is going in the toilet, let's remember this one.

Your timing is bad. Especially since you are referring to a guest as "FOX News" while a CNN anchor referred to one of the Paris terrorists as an "African American" and an MSNBC anchor used a picture of a broken store window in another country and said it was a picture of a bombed NAACP chapter here in the U.S.

Two tips that I know you will accept with open arms:

    1. You would have more credibility if you bashed everyone instead of just taking clips from Media Matters or Jon Stewart bashing FOX News.

    2. You would have more credibility if you named the person who gave the bad information instead of referring to FOX News as a living, breathing person.

cano, as i've said before, i welcome any jokes or attacks on cnn or any other source like that.  attacks on the inbredity that is Foxnews should not be construed as an endorsement of CNN.

the problem, of course, is that rightwingers are angry, weird, not very bright, hypocritical, religious crazy and several other untoward characteristics that are not conducive to having a good sense of humor or being clever.

that being said, if anyone can maintain a CNN or similar channel thread that garners the kind of success and universal popularity that the Foxnews Disease and Satire or Rightwinger threads have had, i will happily read those posts and participate where i can.

cano, as i've said before, i welcome any jokes or attacks on cnn or any other source like that.  attacks on the inbredity that is Foxnews should not be construed as an endorsement of CNN.

the problem, of course, is that rightwingers are angry, weird, not very bright, hypocritical, religious crazy and several other untoward characteristics that are not conducive to having a good sense of humor or being clever.

that being said, if anyone can maintain a CNN or similar channel thread that garners the kind of success and universal popularity that the Foxnews Disease and Satire or Rightwinger threads have had, i will happily read those posts and participate where i can.

I will admit most comedians are liberal but as a non-partisan independent I would say it is liberals who don't have a sense of humor.

Example: A few years ago a rodeo clown in Missouri was fired because of the backlash he received from wearing an Obama mask in the bull ring. He did the same thing with a George Bush mask when Bush was President but conservatives didn't call for his firing.

As far as the posters here on Covers I don't think anyone has a better sense of humor than Slim with his avatars and witty replies. If you don't agree with him you may not find them witty but put Slim next to someone on the left like Detox and Scal.

I think there are plenty of humourous and clever conservative commentators: PJ O'Rourke, Greg Gutfeld, Dennis Miller. Here is what Dana Carvey had to say about liberals, their sense of humor, and their comedy.

When you say angry, weird and religious crazy you are describing the Westboro Baptist Church. I think I can say both sides of the aisle hate them. Do you know anyone personally with that description or are you using the Hollywood stereotype?

actually, i was referring to the targets of my various threads, which include many existing republican politicians and others, not just fringe groups like westboro baptist church.  i actually have more respect for the WBC folks than your average rightwinger.  similar mindset as rightwingers, but at least they are honest about it and not afraid to get out there and suffer the risks and consequences of their bigotry and other hateful garbage.

in any case, if rightwingers can be funny and leftists can approach this level of rightwing crazy, i'm sure most of us would love to laugh at it.  let's see it.

I disagree...  liberals are the comedians and the ones with the sense of humor...  I just think liberals and much of the moderate mainsteam dont find your staunch conservatives humor funny...

But of course I am saying this as a non-partisan independent...

I also think that you are looking at the westboro bapitist church the wrong way...

Its not about what the party's think about them...  thats meaningless...  the parties are selling themselves to the people...

So the logical question actually which party does the wbc think best exemplifies their views, stances and how they think about the world and life...

Would be interesting to see which party the wbc aligns itselfs with as most accurately representing who they are and what they are about...
