    an_speak   Gas prices rise!

    The average price US drivers pay for a gallon of gas hit $4 on Monday, as intensified fighting further disrupts oil flows through the Strait of Hormuz

    [thanks to trump and his republican accomplices].

    an_speak The war trump started with Iran (at the behest of another leader) has cost America a whopping $37.5 billion so far; Badministration seeks more funding for their unnecessary war of choice.

    @fubah2

    yesterday they approved 73 Billion for the War! This is nothing but ka bookie theatre for people like you! 75% of USA is against the War, members of the House know this. So they vote no knowing it will never clear the Senate or be signed by POTUS.

    Dems in the House & Senate do Not want the War to end, if it does they lose Power! Dems will do everything they can to prolong the War just like Republicans did with Iran during the Hostage crises.

    Republicans gave Iran Missiles in return for delaying hostage release until after Reagan won the Presidential Election! FYI all of the USA Hostages were CIA who stayed behind to burn documents until they got arrested!

    USA ran Iran like a puppet, the CIA placed its HQ for all of Asia in Iran. The Iranians students knew CIA Asia HQ was there so they raided it securing Documents of USA’s crimes & identities of CIA Spies & Assets all over Asia! A Massive win for KGB & China’s Intelligence = this could be why USA has pissed away it’s Fortune & ceding to Russia & China today!

    Watchdogs suggesting the true cost is much, MUCH greater than a mere $37.5 BILLION!

    @FresnoHawk68

     You are quite a bit out there in many regards but post 981 is accurate but a bit dated. The Iran hostage crisis was created to get Reagan elected and it worked, it was a total scam/sham joke but with Reagans VP having a good inside scoop on the CIA and his thumb in the pie it is not a huge shock to do the math about how it was engineered.

    If you are surmising that the DEMS want this fraud war to continue so they can muddy Trump up I think there is plenty of dirt already out there without that being necessary and if you were correct on that then Trump would have shut the door on Netty and closed this up long ago. I also do not think the DEMS are wanting to give Pete and his studly cohorts the debt funded cash that they are seeking, that does not seem accurate at all. If the DEMS had both congress and senate majorities Iran would have been squashed as an excursion immediately so not sure how you are making that connection.

    The Iran Hostage Crisis was Organic! The CIA HQ for ALL of Asia was in Iran! After the CIA employees were detained, Iran used its entire middle school & high school population to paste the shredded documents together. Their Primary Objective was to get evidence proving USA overthrew Iran in 1953. Once the Iranians got the evidence proving 1953 Operation Ajax & a whole lot more (drug running, arms running, assassinations in Asia & America’s) they demanded President Jimmy Carter broadcast a Public Apology to Iran but Carter said “USA doesn’t Apologize”!

    The Iranians said if Carter doesn’t apologize they will release the documents of crimes to the Media World Wide, Carter refused so they did!

    I ask you did USA overthrow Iran in 1953? Was the Shah a puppet of USA? Did the CIA assassinate leaders in Vietnam & in the Americas? Did USA’s military traffic heroine into the USA? Etc…. CIA documents prove it all!

    @wallstreetcappers

    “It’s the Economy Stupid” that’s why Dems want to prolong the Iran War! What they don’t know is the Iran War is just getting started!

    A POTUS is usually destined to lose the House in Mid Terms after he wins the Presidency that’s why Smart POTUS try to get ahead of it but they still usually fail.

    The last thing a Political Party in Power should screw with is the Economy. Wars screw up the economy. As for Tariffs yes they’re a tax paid by the Consumer & by the Manufacturer because it raises cost of goods creating disadvantages. The Plan was to tariff then use the Tariffs to rebuild USA’s Manufacturing, Supply Chains, & Education system which Advanced Manufacturing is built upon & a whole lot more! USA doesn’t have Advanced Manufacturing, Heavy Machinery Manufacturing, or Manufacturing tool making! USA doesn’t know how to do any of this.
    Forcing Americans to pay for training & educating their Children is something a Gov should do when necessary.

    The plan was to propose a Deal with China! Give China access to USA’s Market in return for Manufacturing & Supply Chain Knowledge & TRAINING from China, Keep USA DOLLARS inside USA. Tariffs are part of the plan!

    In no part of the Plan was to accuse China of stealing, bad mouth & threaten the entire World with Sanctions & Tariffs. Trump screwed the whole thing up.

If the DEMS had both congress and senate majorities Iran would have been squashed as an excursion immediately so not sure how you are making that connection.

    Also Immigration is directly tied to the Economy! A large Majority of Americans know this! Bashing Trump’s immigration policies is a loser, it will not attract voters to your coalition.

    Winning Elections is a game of Addition attracting segments of the Population to your Coalition. Building Coalitions! Establishment Democrats understand this, Establishment Republicans & Socialists Democrats = 60% of Dem Party do not.

    Socialist Dems are winning elections because they’re Lying to voters who have been jerked around for years by Dems & Repubs. But Socialists Dems do not have enough voters to win the Presidency in the near future.

    WW3 could open the door for a Socialist USA!

    To clarify the dirt on Trump doesn’t win the Midterms, Trump is Not on the Ballot! The House & Senate enable the War the War causes inflation, inflation pisses off ALL Americans = Young Republican voters do Not Vote = Dem Victory as long as the Dem Candidate is decent. Against an entrenched Politician you have to be a Good Candidate to win even in a bad economy.

    Thats why I keep telling these Lunatic Dems to stop wasting time bashing Trump when the Mid Terms are in a few months! They need to focus on the Issues Impacting Each County or State! If the Dems screw this up I lose six figures!

    Denmark has fewer production regulations than you do, yet you claim to be the capitalists? You should be glad that some Democrats look to Scandinavia for guidance because we've essentially taken the best from all monetary and social political systems and created our own. Considering how much our countries own you, you can call us socialists and communists all you want. Neither of those are bad by definition

    @Calde13  "socialists and communists"

    Demagogue Trump propaganda is trying to paint socialist democrats as a threat to justify fascist crackdown on dissent.  But polls show being socialist is less of a liability than unpopular Trumpism in US elections.  Trump autocracy is more frightening.

    Canada and Sweden  for just two well-known examples, are commonly referred to as Social-Democracies (not officially, but colloquially) within a framework of free enterprise (Capitalism)  We would be better off shifting that way...

    Personally, I don't think the Nordic model could work in the US because it requires certain character traits. For example, you should be willing to pay your taxes. It's not that painful when you can easily track and see how they're used, but initially, you wouldn't have that mindset. You also need to trust your government a lot more than you do. The easiest way to see the difference was how the two countries handled the pandemic!

    Many say that you can’t copy the US due to its size, but that’s nonsense. A larger population would make it easier to implement. Even though you can’t copy the US exactly, you should question why your healthcare and school systems cost you money when they're publicly funded in the rest of the developed world. That's just healthy criticism of your country. There's nothing financially or socially that should prevent you from having them. I have it better than almost anywhere else on the planet, and I still question how we do things and think of ways to improve. That's why we're the "best"—not because we keep enforcing the narrative that we are without evolving.

    Your country's argumentation is backwards and defies logic. For instance, you argue that you can't afford free schools, but I would argue that you would earn more money if schools were free. For starters, your population would be better educated, and fewer people would have to homeschool their children. They could work and contribute to society. There would also be a need to hire more teachers, which would reduce unemployment. The only reason not to do this is that they want you to be stupid.

    Also, regarding guns, why not just not distribute them freely? What about that? If gun lobbyists didn't run your country, it might be a good idea. Instead of arguing you need guns to defend against other people that have guns an_roll_laughthejester
