Guys, the man can do as he pleases. I've read a lot of posts on here, and some cappers are very good with their picks. I don't care how they get or make their picks. I also don't care how much of their own money they put on their picks. We read their posts, and we decide what and how much to play.

These guys DON'T HAVE to do this. Whether they do this to help others on this forum or to gain attention, or TO SET UP THEMSELVES FOR TOUT SERVICES, I appreciate all they've done. Sometimes I see a pat-on-the-back post, but many times I see bashing and hating.

Guys like PITTVIPER, UNCFOREVER, TARGET_9,and ODSSBUSTER have helped a lot of people including myself make money. If you appreciate it, drop them a thank you. If you don't, or are jealous, stay out of their threads. If they choose to become professional touts, it's our decision to follow or not. Just because they won't be doing it for free anymore and you're scared that you might have to pay for their services, DON'T HATE!!!

For you, PV, and other cappers on this forum, thanks for what you've done. Wish you guys can be on here a long time to help people like myself. But whatever you choose to do, BEST WISHES!!!

Amen koketron!!!!!!!!!!! Hey, I understand the loyalty customers or members have to covers and their points (to a certain extent) but give credit where it's due for fuck sake!!!!!!!!!!!! This guy is taking his own time and energy to prove himself and he's helping himself and others out at the same time...... Now, if it's just to prove to people that he's worth money for picks, so be it, hopefully not, but ride this dude out and everyone keep their opinions to themselves and let the dude do what he does best, pick winners!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought this was a community setup to help people win money and to discuss sports picks.  Please stop this madness.  I don't care about anything but discussing sports.  Please take the drama next door to the Days of our Lives Forum.

As far as PittViper is concerned I appreciate all the hard work he does and I hope he continues to post his picks.  If he stops he stops... if he charges money for them he charges money.

You know what...I had a feeling that this might happen because I have seen it before with other cappers here on covers and wagerline. But to bluntly hate on them for doing so is the first I have seen. If you have the talent for sportsbetting and chooses it as your career than of course this is the most logical and intelligent way to advertise yourself. So who cares if this is or not PV intentions. His choice just like some of the great cappers here like UNC, rush, mac, etc chooses to post their picks for free. After seeing UNC hate like that has actually made me lose respect in him. Kinda showed me that UNC is jealous of PV!!! PV is currently posting his picks for free NOW so take it for what it is and show the man love. Once he start charging than you as a MAN must make the decision to pay or not. Personally I won't because I won't pay for picks. But if the picks are for free and its hot than I will follow with a liltte research of my own to confirm that its a good pick. If it hits than I'll give the man props and if it didn't than oh well my fault. So for all those out there that is trying to crucify a capper for your assumptions whether if its true or not is ridiculous. If you aint working for covers than mind your own business and do your own thing. If you don't like a poster than stay the fuck out. Simple. Tired of the bitching and moaning that goes on in covers these days. Seems as if this site is full of drama queens and attention person. I agree with most of you.. If he is scamming us into eventually paying for his picks, so be it.. highly doubt that is the case here, and if it is, it is.. so just let it be & later on we will see that this was the case, Otherwise I would just shut up and mind your own business and handicap your own games

There is always good and bad in all situations, as for now we can ALL wait and see.

Pittviper is an very good capper to date...Im very impressed, he personally has not suggested touting , but I have been watching and Tailing UNC for a while and he has never suggested touting although I do recall others in the thread suggesting he touts his picks. At this point UNC'S longevity and record speak for themselves...PITTVIPER TBD....

Either way BOL to both cappers and all of us...

If you have information that makes people money, what's wrong with selling it? It's f**king capitalism!  

It's no different than paying a mutual fund. All they do is pick stocks for you.  According to you guys, all of them should just post their picks and never get paid a dime for it. 

GL to pittviper no matter what he does. If he did set up a phony user name just to plant the seed about selling picks -- well, that just seems juvenile. Personally, I think PV perfectly entitled to just tell people  he's selling his picks, and if  people want to learn how they could just PM him. 

No matter what, the guy made me $$$, and for that I'm grateful.

Thanks for backing me up guys .. my entire argument is that ..

If you were following a handicapper, who is 80% and who has been as dedicated as I am and am posting for free .. then wouldn't you be happy?

If I was a service, who is giving away a 50 day free trial and is 80%, then wouldn't you be happy?

Why even start an argument is my point? The only reason I can think of is jealousy. That UNC guy seemed to be the crowd favourite before I branched out to other forums, and now that that he hasn't been hot and the attention isn't on him .. he comes into my thread and starts shit. As for that other guy who claimed I was also posting as gaimday because the guy had a few odd posts .. lol, get real. 

WHY EVEN START SHIT? The goal after all is to win money, isn't it. That is why you are posting isn't it? That is why we are all here isn't it. I am trying to show a different way to bet compared to the traditional handicapper. Most cappers bet 4-5-6 games a day, like I once did, and most finish just above 500 or make dumb bets, don't manage their money and lose everything they have. The goal is to win myself money and help these people understand there is a way to win at gambling .. by progressively building your bankroll, until your new bankroll is double your starting bankroll .. and then doubling your unit size until you double your bankroll again and continue. This kind of money management with only two picks a day is guaranteed to keep you alive. Now if you add in well researched picks .. which is where I come in .. you have potential to have a huge bankroll a year or two from now. 

Look at the difference between betting 2 picks a night and five picks a night. Although if you go 4-1 or 5-0 it is better then having a 2-0 night, but the goal every night is to come out even or plus money.

With five picks a day there are possibility's (not including pushes) - (5-0, 4-1, 3-2, 2-3, 1-4, 0-5). So with five picks, and six possible outcomes, technically there is a 50% chance of having a winning night .. but a 50% chance of having a losing night. 

With two picks a day there four possibility's (not including pushes) -
(2-0, 1-1, 1-1, 0-2). So there is a 75% chance of having an even day or better, and a 25% chance of having a losing day. You add this method to well researched picks, then you are off to a good start.

Most people don't even realize this or think about this type of thing when placing bets, you need to bet for today but plan for the future and make sure you are always giving yourself the best possible edge.

I am sorry if my contribution at this forum, is not of one of significance to you and that is fine if it isn't. Sad that I have to come into my own thread to defend myself.  Like i've said before either .. follow, watch, fade or get lost.

Tonights picks are Chicago in the NBA and Rice in CBK for those not wanting to dig through this nonsense.

I say no harm no foul. I've seen plenty of dudes go tout here that I never thought would have, so nothing would really surprise me anymore. Even if this is the case, enjoy PV's picks while they last, cause the dude is on a mad hot streak. Keep up the solid work PV.

My point to the big post I have above is that .. two picks a day is statistically the safest way to approach gambling. 

1 pick a day (50% chance of win 50% chance of loss)
2 picks a day (25% chance of winning both, 75% chance of breaking even or winning, 25% chance of losing)
3 picks a day (50% chance of winning, 50% chance of losing)
4 picks a day (33% chance of winning, 66% chance of push or better, 33% chance of losing)
5 picks a day (50% chance of winning, 50% chance of losing)

So really, betting 2 plays or 4 plays a day is the smartest way to go .. with two picks a day being the safest for longterm. 
Just food for thought. Double think it the next time you have two games and go to wager that third game because then you can go 2-1 and still have a winning day .. yes you need to 67% of your picks that day to win, lowering your long term expectations.
