middle tenn always seems to be a tough out in the tourney .....they are building a nice little Gonzaga-like program there.
Anyone have early lines yet for ASU vs St. Johns?

Bashkimi +15.5 (morning degen heat check...tread lightly...seems like too many points being offered here for supposedly a decent home team who has been playing above average ball...a road team in these leagues to be favored by 15+ pts needs to be a special team, and in my experience and opinion, Rilski doesn't qualify...smells like a more competitive game to me in the 6-12 point range.

Valpo +16.5...seems way too high of a line, and I am prepared now to start applying my "fade big 10 teams" theory against good mid major teams

curious what your guys' stance is or if you have noticed this. it seems to me that the lines for NCAAB, (outside of primetime), are not nearly as sharp as any NBA games. it's more so easy to cap these games based off stats vs. the nba. do you think the reasoning is simply because there's too many games for the books to follow, the ticket counts aren't as high, not enough money? i know we probably will never know the real reason the oddsmakers make these lines, however, i'm curious to know some likeminded opinions. am i the only one that has noticed this?

ODB,
I really think its as simple as statistical models that spit out the number and then very sharp minded cappers for whom they have hired break it down and make any tweaks they see based on trends and the eyeball test. That is why I think Live lines are the way to go since they are just working on a moving algorithm most likely set to the original line so you can take advantage when the favored team comes out sluggish.
I know I didnt really answer your college with regards to college vs the pros but I've seen some ridiculously sharp lines in both sports so I don't know.
UNC was a gift though. LOL

seriously!! lol. i love live betting on huge favs that come out slow. that's the way to go. i really like to look for the line mistakes or the lines that just don't make sense to me based off money, ticket count, public betting, etc, however, for the not-so-popular ncaab games, it's just not happening. for mlb it was pretty damn easy to spot

Under 212.5 Washington vs Phoenix
Without Booker and without Wall I think the points will be hard to come by. I don't like the fact I missed the opening line of 215 but I think the Suns will have a hard time cracking the 100 mark and I don't see the Wizards going much higher than 100.

I missed the angle on MIN@LAC. Couldn't believe LAC lost. Then I learned one of LAC's former players returned for MIN, in his first trip back to his former team. That angle gets a win, more often than not, for the former player at his old team. Just sloppy research on my part.
LAL@PHI
This is a square play. No angles I can see. LAL is on a losing streak, and getting blown out to boot.
When PHI wins, they cover (6-1).
When LAL loses, they don't (1-7).
I know PHI wants to get that ridiculous loss to PHO behind them. There won't be 2 straight fails, at home, against bad Western Conference teams here. This is not 2016.
PHI -8
WAS@PHO
I called this game a few days ago. PHO wins against WAS. That is the angle here. Just take the points.
PHO +7
OKC@BKN
No angles on this game. The stats say OKC doesn't stand a chance here. Plus, I am going with a crazy idea that the Nets have the Raiders colors (almost) who Mexicans love. And, you get a lot of points with BKN.
BKN +6.5
HOU@UTA
No angles on this game. HOU has been a machine lately. HOU is 6-0 SU/ATS on the road, last 6. UTA is 5-0 SU/ATS at home. I will take UTA, at home, plus the points, but HOU wins, keeping their winning streak alive. Should be an interesting game. Tough road team vs. tough home team.

I do not play alot of football, couple a week, but tonight Atl.-2 is worth a shot, mainly because NO corners are in bad shape and though overall the Saints are more balanced team,Atl.needs this and I see their receivers having good nights.
Home team -2,they play again in 2 weeks so if Atl.wins this like I think,2 weeks might go with NO if DBs are healthy.
GL tonight to all.

OK boys, I'm not seeing much and as much as I want to take Georgetown I just don't know that much about them yet. Small slate of games tonight so I will just make these 2 plays and wait for tomorrow.
already locked in:
Over 208 Jazz Rockets
Under 212.5 Wizards Suns
small play on Sanu to score first TD +900

UT Arlington +4.5
Ut Arlington ML +170 (half unit)
Valpo +8.5 1st half
OKC Thunder -6.5 (just heard Booker from Nets got traded so that key kog in the wheel will be sorely missed as the Nets are thin as it is)
Rockets/Jazz over 209.5....tailing Dirk
I am not a robot but if i were, i would get rid of the new format immediately.
