Celtics on the spread did seem low to me...just as they did vs the Bucks...books trying to play mind games with these low lines....Boston could easily win here by 15+

anyone have thoughts on UNC -32?  WCU is one of the worst teams in college and if Cincy can beat them by 51 and Clemson can beat them by 28 I think the Tar Heels can win by 32.   This game might be a repeat of Duke over St. Francis last night.  Poor St. Francis

NBA picks for Wednesday

SAC @ CLE

Can you believe CLE is on a 12-game winning streak?!?!?!?
No reason to jump off now. But, in the NBA, laying DD points is a lot to ask of any team, including CLE on a winning streak. I know they are playing SAC, but CLE knows how to blow a point spread. 1-10 at home ATS! How is that possible on a DD winning streak? Hard game to call but I will go with CLE's horrid ATS record.

SAC -12.5 (going to stick with my angles, not real sure, but this is my play)

CHI @ IND

The square, easy play is IND. IND is starting au massive home stretch, while CHI is on a 9-game losing streak and on the road. Just don't see any angle for a CHI cover here, other than NBA scripting. The only thing I can think is that this is the same number of points CLE got, and CLE covered

IND -9.5 (will give this a try)

ATL @ ORL

Good spot for ATL to get the 1st win in a home-and-home.

ATL ML (could play it safe and take the 6.5 points)

DET @ MIL

Really good spot for DET to get a road win and stop their 3-game losing streak.

DET ML

MIN @ LAC

How is LAC the dog here? MIN beat them at home in their last game and now LAC gets a turn at home. Plus, LAC gets the points.

LAC ML (or take the 5.5 points to play it safe)

how is LAC the dog ?    They are decimated with injuries and when the season is over they might be looking at a high lottery pick.  Not to mention all the trade rumors surrounding DJ.  Doc has lost this team and they are relying on his deadbeat son to run the offense?  

not to hate, but are these your write ups Parlay or was this from a tout?

BIGDTITLE, I have learned never to look at injury reports, substitutions, or lineup changes when capping the NBA. In very rare cases, a returning player to his old team makes a difference. But, generally, the players don't mean squat in my system.

College/Int'l BBall is an entirely different animal, and that is why I tail you guys.

My NBA picks are not bad. I just need to stop ruining myself with Int'l Bball and emotional plays in other sports.

If LAC doesn't at least cover vs MIN, I would be VERY surprised. It would require a real adjustment to my system.

GL Parlay, you might be 100% right but I would find it difficult to back this Clippers team against anyone at the moment.   GL on your picks.

First official play of the day:


Over 93.5 -105 UNC team total.  

Decided to go with the total as I see a repeat of last nights Duke game where UNC gets well over 100 points in this one.  This should be like a walk through practice for them.  No real look aheads either as the Tar Heels don't play another game until 12-17 !!!!   They will be focused on embarrassing the Catamounts tonight.

Over 72.5 FH total     UNC vs Western Carolina.


Again, I see the Tar Heels coming out blazing hot in this one. Im sure they all saw what their rival did last night putting up 71 FH points against St Francis and will want to try and duplicate that.  I know they aren't getting to number by themselves, but I do see them putting up over 50 which means the Catamounts only need to put up 20-25 themselves.

Miami caught my eye as well PB.  However, 2 defensive minded teams always worry me since scoring should be at a premium.  If it was say Denver or Toronto than I would like their chances to score and keep it close.

Adding:


Under 42.5 Points Rebounds and Assists for Giannis.  

I see the same result as back in November when Giannis tries to get inside he has to deal with the best defender in the league in Drummond.  He should score in the mid 20s but I don't see him rebounding more than 8 times and prolly looking at around 5-6 assists.  
For any normal human that is a great game.  I just think 42.5 is too much to cover against this front.
