Michigan State will be sneaky good and play OSU at home.   I don't think he should lose his job, but there will be the typical pressure from many different sources if things get ugly.   That will cause chaos internally.

OSU backers are in trouble with this. 


Mets lose on the Runline even after the worst loss in history with their second best pitcher throwing. Wow. Which is why I don’t bet baseball. The angles don’t hold up. Now THAT is a an awful team...

PB. My book still has LSU under 7.5 -150.  Someone said in another thread my book blows (which I agree with at times )
But times like this are why I love them.

I want to highlight the essence of a degenerate gambler based on what I saw tonight:

Jamie Gold won the 2006 WSOP for, wait for it, $12 million dollars.

It was the biggest WSOP field ever: 8,773.

It was the biggest prize poker ever at $12 million and the biggest disparity between first and second: $6 million.

What does he do? He promptly signs up to play in High Stakes Poker on GSN and has $500k in from of him in a $400/$800 game with straddles.

Jamie Gold was on Live at the Bike tonight playing....

$5/$10 No Limit with $1,600 in front of him.

Wow...you talk about a downfall.

Trying to scratch out a couple hundred after winning the biggest poker tournament of all time...

For Farha to not push in on the river on this hand is criminal...

He  will never get a better spot than AA vs. KK with almost a million to be potted vs. Jamie Gold.

I guarantee the other players were salivating for him to play more hands after losing a ridiculous amount of money with the river check.

Just disgusting...

the way Farha played that on the river proves how fake that series ended up being...it was all a made for tv show, and there was zero money changing hands after the lights went out...everyone there sitting at the table was most likely being paid to appear to promote themselves and their poker brand/image...the sponsors and poker sites made all the money off of scripted shows like these...I will only trust "live at the bike" as the true poker tv show

BWS. Regarding the Ohio state RSW and any other RSW bet for that matter, does that number include any conference championship game ?  If it doesn’t that 10.5 number looks very attractive

Urban Meyer will be fired or will resign before the first game is played....OSU will be off the hook for approx $38 million because the firing "has justification"...its in his contract something along these lines....bye bye Oscar Meyer Weiner...thats what you get for lying...we all know the coverup is usually worse than the crime itself....why he chose (allegedly for now) to keep this quiet for all this time is something only he knows, and will always live with regret over it.

Do you have an article or 2+2 thread to substantiate that claim.

What it really comes down to is that these are NOT good poker players. I would sit down with Farha any day and I'm a 2/5 NL player!

Look at this Brandon no name calling off nearly his entire stack with a 7 2 offset bluff (yes I know we see the cards and its unfair but there is a time and place to wave the white flag).

These Game Show Network High Stakes games were about solid pros taking from the millionaire and billionaire businessmen, the WSOP champs (Gold and Eastgate) and the pro Fish (Farha, Elezra, Peat etc.).
