Scal. Haven’t even dug into that Brazil matchup yet but my initial thoughts are they are in trouble if they play that kind of defense again. My heart is still pounding from today’s amazing game. I mean to counter attack like that with literally 17 seconds left in stoppage instead of just playing for extras is incredible. What’s even more incredible is the unselfish play of Lukaku to let it go through his legs to his teammate. Brilliant.

It's pretty crazy. I had him going over pick 6.5 for weeks to the Cavs or Knicks and knowing both teams wanted him (Trae gave the Cavs a private workout), I backed off thinking some team above them would think they were 'losing out'. And there it was...the Hawks thought that...
Just to note how bad Lebron screwed Cleveland here for the future:
1) Did not reveal his plans until the last minute, holding up Cavs pursuit of any free agents;
2) After he leaves the Cavs, the multiple FA's who the Cavs could have dealt for or possibly signed now wanted to go to LA (or GS);
3) Cavs lose out on all potential assets and picks without a sign and trade for Lebron, which he could have easily given them;
4) Finally, they are saddled with Jordan Clarkson's $50 MILLION dollar contract for 4 years; the very contract which gave the Lakers enough cap space to do what they are doing now, in a trade that was made specifically for Lebron.
I'm serious when I say this: Dan Gilbert should have chastised him AGAIN for this, more classy but still publicly critical. You don't leave a franchise and city in shambles like this FOR NOTHING in return.

Dan Gilbert now has a billion dollar franchise because of Lebron....hes smart to swallow his tongue here and not go Dolan on his arse...the Cavs franchise will survive just fine living off of these glory years.
