I looked at both of those. Houston was just too expensive. I still might pull the trigger RL. I also like the Yankees against my A's but i'm not sold on Sonny Gray. Truth be told, i've never been sold on him, even when he was our de facto Ace. I'm prejudice against sub 6' pitchers. Had season tickets during his rookie year, I believe our last year in the playoffs. Watched him go toe to toe, 8 scoreless, in an eventual, walk-off 1-0 win against none other than today's starter in your Houaton game, Justin Verlander. It was great yet heartbreaking series. We lost in 5 games.

Tough luck yesterday. Should've been 2-2 with an even split and Anaheim screws the pooch in the 9th. Happens. Back at it today.
Nationals -1.5 -118
Buckos -1.5 +155
NYM/Phi F5 under 4 -130
Basketball back tomorrow. Like most, I was leaning Cavs but the more I break it down, i'm thinking Boston. Write-up to come.

All of a sudden, everybody is in love with the traveling Lebrons. H3ll, even I was for a few days after watching them dispatch of Craptors. Then I remembered this is the same Craptor team i've been calling the worst "good" team for the last 3 years. And this is the same Cleveland team that took 7 games to beat Indiana. So what do we know about Cleveland aside from them having the best player in the league? They're an iso-kick out team. When they hit their 3's they look like the freakin' Globetrotters. When they don't, they look like the Washington Generals. That is, if the Generals had Lebron James on the roster. With the absence of Kyrie Irving, the lack a scorer who can create his own shot off the dribble. Though George Hill has tried, while he's a better true point and defender than Kyrie, he's not the scorer Kyrie is. Lastly, the Cavs don't play defense.
That brings us to the Celtics. For one, we know they play defense. More importantly, they run guys off of the three point line. They've got a wunderkind coach who has probably been game planning for Lebron since the playoffs started. They're at home and it being an afternoon game off of a layoff, I expect it to start slow. This favors the home team and the defensive minded team. Give me the Celtics 1h!

Yeah, a few saturday festivities. Came in and chilled on the couch for about an hour to collect myself to avoid stumbling into the bedroom, creating a commotion that wakes the lady. Fired that off then because I wasn't sure if i'd have the time in the morning aftet cooking breakfast and calling my own mother.

Will somebody tell Scal that's how you provide a long write-up that predicts a winner. And second thought, don't tell him. We don't want him in here.
