Fishy line alert:

Pelicans -3.5....in Dallas who is supposedly tanking 90% of their remianing games, against one of the hottest teams right now in NOrleans who are legitimately in the running for the 4 seed and home court in round 1...with Unibrow who is playing at a hall of fame level recently since Boogie went down...and the line is this short???

This will play out 2 ways:
1. Pels gwt out to an early lead and win wire to wire although Dallas makes a 4th Q run to make Pels bakcers sweat it out with them hanging on to win by 5 or 6
2. Mavs jump out by 10+ by halftime and the Pels scratch and claw their way back in the 2nd half, and win the game late in the 4th Q by either 2,3, or 4 pts.

BigD...this is your team, got any read here? Is NOrleans truly one of their rivals or just another western conf game playing out the seasons string?

thanks, pb! definitely learned a lot more from the group since the beginning of the season so must give credit back. i actually went back and was reading over some of the ancient stuff archived from phixer and sports mavin and applied it to what i was doing. HUGE difference. it's a shame there aren't many posters like that anymore around here which is why i really like posting in this thread. 

went 4-1-2 yesterday for ncaa and 2-1 for nba, picking up some nice profit. let's find some winna's today, fellas! do i dare even look at michigan is the question. lmao

i'm VERY interested to see how michigan will do against some big guys on purdue in the paint. a huge problem, other than michigan's ability to score beyond the arc, was that none of their opponents could get in the paint to drive to the basket. now you have two mammoths on purdue who are also excellent free throw shooter.s i am leaning very hard on purdue right now. and no, i have not learned my lesson yet seeing as i have lost on michigan twice and pushed once. lol. would love to see purdue get 5 and i'm sold. may even take 4.5

regarding NOLA, if my memory serves me right it this team seems to own us even when both teams are at full strength and not tanking.  Add in the supposed tanking angle and I think you could see a comfortable DD win

what worries me PB is no line movement in a game NOLA should definitely win with ease.  GL however you play it.

Thanks for the feedback BigD...i will track the first 12/24 min and act accordingly...pregame is not where i am at anymore unless something screams and jumps off the card, which is rare.

yeah.  the last few weeks I've almost exclusively bet second halves in college or in-game only.   The lines have been super sharp in this conference tourneys.

normally I would tell you the Mavs for the FH has been money since they tend to be competitive and fade late i.e. bulls game. However, as soon as Cuban opened his dumb mouth all that changed.  I have no idea how to play the Mavs these days with those words looming in my head.

If D1coach was still among us, im sure he would have posted Fla Gulf Coast 2h ML -220 for 25k as a 90% winner ...but only 10min into the 2nd half just to make sure he looks good for potential clients
